"Short trip - 1. staff on the phone unfriendly 2. staff at the reception not only unfriendly but also dismissive (if money flows like this, why be friendly...) me never again in any case 3. price: more than at a 5-star campsite on Lake Garda 4. two (!) sanitary blocks for the whole site !!! and only one of them with showers. 5. the sanitary building in question (with showers) is only accessible via a very sloping corridor in the basement of the main building. Well, handicapped like me, but not in a wheelchair.... Close your eyes and hope for the best. Of course, the barrier-free bathrooms are reserved for people in RS. Which wouldn't be a problem if the other facilities were only accessible via a steep ramp. So far so good... all done without injury. It's 11.00 am. There are about 12 toilet cubicles in the area where I am. Again, NOTHING is at ground level. It seems to have been built to be as easy to clean as possible. Which is a sensible idea, at least in principle. Okay, it's 11:00, I want to go to the toilet. Door 1 ... no thanks... Door 2... OMG.... Door 3... I'm starting to break... And this is what it looks like behind every door. Out of necessity, I opted for the lesser of two evils. I'm sorry. I have no idea why this place is being hyped? Even at Gardersee I didn't have to pay this price for an overnight stay. The sanitary facilities are basically not accessible at all or only accessible by bike and not even clean in the middle of the day. Conclusion: Cool location and someone knows how to make money with it. NOT RECOMMENDED!

"Very nice campsite - We have been coming regularly for 8 years, as my cousin is a permanent camper there. It's just pure relaxation when you're there. The shower blocks and toilets are always clean. The small houses you can rent are perfectly adequate and for the price just perfect as a little break, the people there are super nice. We as a family of 2 adults and 2 children always enjoy coming.

"6 days Grav Island from 25.-30.05.2025 - Huge campsite that is mostly occupied by permanent campers who occupy all the pitches in the front row facing the water. Those who come here have to travel long distances, especially to shower.

"Party weekend - The campsite is huge and mainly filled with permanent campers. Unfortunately, the site is extremely noisy and everyone seems to be allowed to make as much noise as they want. The sanitary facilities are well maintained and well cleaned. The range of food and drinks is sufficient and there is a delicatessen on the site. There is plenty of space for walking the dog and swimming is also possible. Ideal for cycling.

"Camping Grafinsel - Campsite is very nice and clean, staff lousy. Overworked, bad-tempered, sold their laughter. World trip to the sanitary facilities which are very clean!

Ab auf die Insel! Wir heißen Sie und Ihre Lieben herzlich willkommen im Erholungszentrum Grav-Insel, dem Campingvergnügen für die ganze Familie. Rheinabwärts von Wesel am schönen Niederrhein gelegen, umgeben von Wasser und einer herrlichen Auen- und Wiesenlandschaft. Der ideale Ort …die wertvollste Zeit im Jahr zu verbringen - Ihrem Urlaub. Bei uns wird Ihr Campingurlaub zum Erlebnis, ob baden, wandern, Rad fahren, tauchen, angeln, Boot fahren oder einfach nur in der Sonne liegen, bei uns ist (fast) alles möglich. Unser besonderes Augenmerk haben wir dabei auf die Wünsche unserer “kleinen“ Campinggäste gelegt. Bei einer Rundfahrt in der Rappelkiste lernen Sie die Insel kennen. Im Streichelzoo freuen sich unter anderem der Esel von Wesel „Julius“ und das Shetlandpony „Jerry“ auf die Kleinen und im neuen Abenteuerland sind der Phantasie keine Grenzen gesetzt. In den Sommerferien findet zudem noch ein Kinder- und Jugendanimationsprogramm durch die Campingkirche statt, so dass Sie Ihre Kinder gerade noch zu den Mahlzeiten sehen werden und Sie sich selbst auch richtig erholen können. In diesem Sinne genießen Sie Ihren Aufenthalt auf der Grav-Insel Ihr Grav-Insel Team
