We wouldn’t book this campsite again because the noise from the playground was very loud. Even when the ball keeps bouncing off the fence, it’s very annoying. Maybe there’s a way to minimize the noise.

I’d like to make one comment here.
I’d cautiously call the sites in the ER... area (“Comfort Sites”) a disaster—especially the lower ones.
Every time there was heavy rain, we were “flooded.”
Rubber boots are a must here.
They need to reinforce these sites as soon as possible...!!!
We’d love to come back, but we’ll avoid the ER area if possible.

But….
We wanted to book a spot on-site for 5 days in August 2027. We were told that a minimum stay of 7 days was required. When I asked why we’d been able to book 5 days previously, we were then offered a spot that had become available... due to a cancellation. This was a standard site. However, since we would have liked to book a comfort site again, that wasn’t possible.
Too bad.

We enjoyed our stay at the campground in Kühlungsborn. The location near the beach and the town is beautiful, and the restrooms were very clean and well-maintained during our stay.
We were disappointed by the pricing:... Because we arrived a few hours early, we had to pay the full site fee for that time, even though we had only parked the trailer and hadn’t used any electricity or other services. The sauna and fitness room also cost extra. For a campsite in this price range, we would have expected at least limited use—such as 90 minutes in the sauna—to be included in the price.
