The Peace and Quiet The playground by the entrance was nice. The animals there are cute.
Negativno
The bathroom facilities had been left as they were sometime before the fall of the Berlin Wall and never updated. There were two showers but no shower curtains; it was still chilly outside, and you had to freeze while showering because the heat wasn’t turned on. When we asked, they turned it on, but unfortunately, it didn’t really warm up the room. The hot water also ran out quickly, so you only had about two minutes to shower; if someone else was showering at the same time, both of you would have to switch to cold water after a short while. All over the campground, there were piles of stuff where people had probably started working on something, set their things down, and then just left them there.
Um, yeah, not recommended
Well, I think if you were to invest a little money and tidy things up and renovate a bit, it would be a really nice place, but as it is, I wouldn't recommend anyone plan a stay there.

No communication at all, bungalow dirty
Very bad experience, never again
I had to book for two nights, although I only needed one.
On handing over the bungalow, I was not told that I should even turn on the hot water and electricity myself (spending two nights and not assuming that the guest wants to shower): Very nasty surprise then, and not a person to be reached far and... wide.
The bungalow was also not clean, it was very dusty and dirty in the corners. To the point of being disgusting.
100,00€ for such a service is not acceptable.
Despite an attempt at clarification, I didn't get a word of regret, apology or goodwill... On the contrary, I was rudely reprimanded by the owner, who told me to read the terms and conditions... may be true for the boiler and the electricity, but the terms and conditions are of no use to me when it comes to cleanliness.
I can only advise against spending time there, service or customer friendliness looks different in my world.

No campsite Dirty Not lighted Dangerous
No campsite
The campsite is definitely not a campsite for day campers, there are no places where you can stand safely. There are playgrounds that are dirty, you should check beforehand whether the children can play there at all. The showers are incredibly outdated as are the toilets and there is garbage and dirt... everywhere. The campsite does not look inviting. The campsite map on the internet is between 20 years old, as are the pictures.
The restaurant is open from twelve to 18:00.
There is no bread roll service, let alone a breakfast offer as described on the internet.
We didn't find the excrement disposal so we were forced to pour it straight into the toilet.
Surely many say what a rating this is for it is great nature and a lake, but the conditions as stated on the Internet are by no means correct one should perhaps get a personal impression before visiting the place.
Dangerous is also the own access to the lake there it was certainly beautiful many years ago, the boats that may have been on the water are now lying in the water. There is garbage from old fridges etc. lying around on the site.

Unfriendly reception (if you want to call it that) - Dirty sanitary facilities - Unfriendly atmosphere on the pitch - No service This campsite is not recommendable! - on arrival, despite a reservation, you are grumbled at (driving too fast across the site, anyone can say reservation, ID card (no please, no thank you), lights off in the wash house and door closed, this is a proper campsite!) - the sanitary facilities were very unclean and were not cleaned in the evening or in the morning and probably not for some time... - no indication of anything - Permanent campers including owners are allowed to party late into the night. - Conclusion: If day campers are not wanted, you should also say so and well-kept sanitary facilities and friendliness should be standard!
For us: Once and not again at the campsite

Some corners could be better maintained
We will be back.
This unmistakable tranquility was simply fantastic, our 7 year old daughter was not to be seen the whole day, because she quickly found contact with the many other children.the own bathing area was great and never crowded.Yes, there is a need for order in some corners, if you consider that everything... is done by yourself and you don't need luxury, the place is just right for relaxing and recharging your batteries, and if you take the time and let the operators explain to you why it is the way it is in some corners, you will also understand. If you need luxury, you should look for a hotel. The food in the Stüble was very tasty, which is also made by the operators themselves. They all only have 2 hands. Conclusion for us, we went home satisfied and relaxed and we will come back again. With kind regards.

Peace and relaxation for the whole family; pure nature instead of luxury
We arrived at the campsite well prepared thanks to the website. We found the site exactly as described. Due to the location in the forest and a little away from the town, we felt calm and relaxed from the very first day of our vacation. Our children quickly made friends in the centrally located playground.... The Voltz family has given the campsite a magical charm with the fairytale design of the site and the restaurant. They are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the bread roll service to the tent and the really tasty food in the restaurant. The campsite's private beach is a great advantage, especially with children. Only campers are allowed to use it. Thank you very much for this wonderful vacation.

Great nature campsite
Simply super
We stayed at the Zesch am See campsite for 1 1/2 years and it was very nice. The owners of the campsite, the Voltz family, were very helpful and always had an open ear for any questions we had. The food in the Hexenstübl is simply delicious. Everything is freshly prepared and there is still good old... home cooking. The campsite is still really natural and we were able to relax and always felt comfortable. The private beach is also very nice. The annual festivals are always a highlight (dragon boat race). During this long time we also learned what it means to have friends. Helpfulness is very important at the campsite. A big thank you to Andrea and Carsten Voltz We would love to come back. Relaxing...Decelerating....Vacation
After a short phone call and confirmation of a parking space for our caravan, we drove a good 500 km to Zesch am See. I thought we had lost our way when we had to drive 5 kilometers through a forest on a bad gravel road...but no! Arrived and registered. The lady at the campsite even helped us push the... caravan. The first tour took us back at least 30 years into the past. Playgrounds and facilities of the place are probably a bit older ... but not meant negatively because we do not need modern stuff on vacation !!! The wash houses are separated for permanent and day campers...very tidy and quite new. Highly recommended: The food in the Hexenstüberl! What was presented to us on the plate there was really worth every penny. All in all, we were pleasantly surprised by the site and will definitely be back

If you are looking for luxury and hustle and bustle, this is not the place for you
Ideal for rest and relaxation in the middle of nature
After a quick phone call to see if there was still a space available, we set off on our trip to beautiful Brandenburg.the campsite is beautifully situated in the forest.we were able to find peace and relaxation here.the sanitary facilities with extra washbasins for children were good and clean.there... are only 2 showers available, but I never met anyone there, so you would have had to wait. For the sanitary facilities and for the access to the lake you need a key, but that was ok. For us. The food in the Hexenstübel was super tasty and the vegetables fresh and the price reasonable. there is a small campsite kitchen on the site, which allows you to cook on a stove and makes camping even more pleasant. there is also a small playground. CONCLUSION: Nice quiet simple campsite at good prices We will gladly come again

Super great campsite to relax
My husband and I decided at short notice to take a little week trip before our family expands with new additions. We were given a very friendly and informal welcome at the campsite and felt very comfortable right from the start. We were able to contact the owners with any concerns and were given very... helpful advice. In the meantime, we are also considering taking a permanent pitch there, as we have never liked it as much as here. Many thanks for a wonderful week

Be careful when booking on the website!
After we had received confirmation of the booking via the Internet, we arrived after a whole day's drive in the hope of finally being able to relax. To our disappointment, they didn't know anything about the booking! Reason: The booking system had not worked, we should have checked again, although we... phoned reception before booking and were assured that it was no problem to rent a bungalow via the website. Our dissatisfaction and distress was of little interest to anyone. Fortunately, we were able to find accommodation on site at the Märkische Stuben, where we were very satisfied and would highly recommend it! Conclusion: Don't rely on online bookings!

Thank you for advising guests not to rely on the internet. We are very sorry that things went wrong with your booking. You have received a reservation, not a booking confirmation. We advise our guests that they will receive a separate booking confirmation. Unfortunately, we were fully booked at the time....
And you can't say that nobody was interested, because we recommended the Märkische Traube (not Märkische Stuben) to you. And just as computers and the Internet are machines, we are human beings who make mistakes

Some guests leave the camping kitchen in an unsightly state.
Small, tranquil campsite, ideal for relaxing
If you are looking for peace and quiet from the stress of work or everyday life, this is the place for you. The friendly care and helpfulness of the operators, the Voltz family, is commendable. Despite the many years of loving management of the former GDR campsite by the Voltz family, who have invested... time, energy and money in this site, there are unfortunately also complainers here. A campsite is not a five-star hotel. These guests are probably not aware of this. We would love to come back!!!

The campsite has a beautiful location. But that's it. There is bulky garbage everywhere and it looks very run down. The grass was not mowed and the sanitary facilities were a disaster. The volleyball court looked like it hadn't been used for 20 years. The owner was extremely unfriendly and we couldn't leave the pitch until 12 noon because no one was there before. I wouldn't stay there again for the money.

Thank you for the tips, now we can at least change something. It would also be nice to be approached on the spot, but you don't have the courage because you might not have behaved as expected of guests. Is that right? You should also stick to the truth. And we apologize that we have opening hours and are not on site 24 hours a day.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a guest with these names.
It is also a pity that we are not approached on the spot and given the opportunity to change something. It would be nice if people had the courage to tell someone in person rather than always spreading the word on the Internet
