I’d give it 5 stars, but the restrooms are getting a bit worn, and some things in the cabins are broken (missing hook rack), and unfortunately they aren’t cleaned often enough.
If things improve there, I’ll definitely give it 5 stars.

We especially liked that there are many sites right on the water or with a view of the sea. It was also nice that the campground isn’t dominated by long-term campers, because we really don’t like that. The common room and the restroom facilities are superbly equipped; you can sit comfortably inside when the weather is bad or even cook a meal there. A really beautiful beach. So all in all, a lovely campground and highly recommended.NegativnoThe downside is that there’s actually no restaurant or even a fast-food stand on the campground. That’s a real shame, especially if you don’t have a car and are basically forced to cook for yourself every day. And personally, we also miss having a small store. We think that’s a huge shame, because otherwise the campground would be absolutely ideal. But unfortunately, this means you always have to drive somewhere to get supplies. Another downside is that there are no separate restrooms; each stall has its own sink and mirror, which is nice, but unfortunately means you often have to wait in line even when you just want to use the restroom quickly. Of course, people who don’t have small children or who traveled without them have different priorities—for them, the night might well be over by 7:30 a.m.—but we really enjoyed it. Otherwise, the facilities are pretty much perfect. There’s something for all age groups.
The beach is gorgeous. Surfers have a great spot to stand-up paddle right across the way, within walking distance.

Sandy beach Peace and quietNegativnoRestroom Facilities Showers (for a fee) No store PricesRatingWe had booked a very nice spot in the fourth row and positioned ourselves facing the sun to enjoy the beautiful weather. The power box was a bit far away, so we had to borrow an extension cord (cost: 200 DK) because our power box wasn’t located in the center of our area. The main facilities on the campground... are easy to find.
Showers at this campground are metered (3 min = 5 DK) and adequate. There aren’t quite enough toilets in the restroom building. Many campers were waiting in line to use the toilets, but there was a separate room for urinals that many apparently didn’t know about.
Furthermore, many people were washing up in the toilet stalls, which made the wait in line for the “big business” get longer and longer.
Bottom line: there’s clearly a need for more toilets to accommodate the large number of campers.
We also noticed that there isn’t a small shop on-site to pick up a few things; you have to drive about 3 kilometers to Skoby to shop.
You have to pre-order bread rolls a day in advance at a cafeteria.

Personally, I find the timer feature in the shower inconvenient. (Even when the water is turned off, the three-minute timer continues to run.)A lovely family-friendly spot right by the oceanA very nice and quiet campground right on the Baltic Sea. The grassy areas at the campsites look amazingly well-kept, and the campground as a whole is very well maintained.
It’s a wonderful place for families. There’s a large playground for the little ones and a soccer field with extra inflatable cushions... for the older kids. The outdoor pool offers a refreshing break on hot days for a small fee (10 DKK). Otherwise, the sandy beach right next to the campground is also a great option. We particularly liked the family showers, since there’s plenty of space for the whole family and you don’t have to reserve them in advance. The kitchen area is also great and modern. You’re right by the sea, separated only by 15 steps. The communal kitchen is perfect for cooking, washing dishes, and socializing together. The family bathrooms cost extra once activated, but they’re definitely worth it. We didn’t try out the massive outdoor grills, but... they look great too. If you’ve forgotten anything, you can also ride a bike to the nearest town and shop at a supermarket within 10 minutes. In the high season there is no additional sanitary building.Drejby Strand CampingDrejby Strandcamping is a beautiful campsite. It is beautifully situated and easily accessible off the Als peninsula. A beautiful natural beach invites you to sunbathe and swim. Very suitable for families but also for couples looking for some relaxation. Drejby Strandcamping is a very dog-friendly campsite. Great starting point for excursions. Friendly café on site with all kinds of nice offers. The sanitary facilities are of a high standard, toilets are equipped with separate washbasins. Everything is very clean. The pitches with a direct sea view are of course outstanding, but all the other pitches are large enough. Absolutely... worth mentioning is the location to the fine sandy and (attention dog owners, please do not forget bags for the poop!!!!) otherwise very clean beach - unique, you rarely find such a beautiful place. The surrounding area is ideal for walks and bike rides. Surf kiters will also find an ideal location.
Oh, and I shouldn't forget to mention the nice café with all kinds of delicious cakes and coffee specialties and small snacks. Again, very friendly service and the decor deserves an extra star.

It was very large with a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea.NegativnoWe actually liked everything and the weather was no one's fault.SUMMER HOLIDAYS AT THE Drejby campsiteAll the staff at the campsite and the café were really friendly and nice. The outdoor pool was also a nice change and our granddaughter particularly liked the water slide. The whole site and the wash houses were always clean and tidy. The beach is great for swimming and SUPing and is something for young and old.
