And not least the staff. Always time for a chat and not least that the area is animal-friendly :-). The maintenance and cleanliness in all the premises is top notch. It was very large with a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea.НегативиWe actually liked everything and the weather was no one's fault.SUMMER HOLIDAYS AT THE Drejby campsiteAll the staff at the campsite and the café were really friendly and nice. The outdoor pool was also a nice change and our granddaughter particularly liked the water slide. The whole site and the wash houses were always clean and tidy. The beach is great for swimming and SUPing and is something for young and old. - Sven R.юли 2025ПозитивниThe campsite is very quiet and right by the sea. On the campsite you have the possibility to use a kitchen, there is a microwave, oven, hobs and a dishwasher. For children there is a playroom, a TV room, a playground, a soccer pitch and a small outdoor pool, a small program for the children. The beach was clean and far away. The sanitary facilities were always clean. There is a washbasin next to each toilet or a separate washbasin. There was a small café in front where you could order bread rolls, cakes, sandwiches and coffee. There is also a surf school on site.НегативиUnfortunately, there is no possibility to buy a few things beforehand. But there is a small village about 10 minutes away by bike where there is a store, an ice cream parlor, a pizzeria and a restaurant.A very nice, quiet and family-friendly campsite.The campsite is quiet and right by the sea. It’s truly special and something we will genuinely miss 🥰НегативиWe’ve been coming to Drejby Strand Camping regularly for over five years, but this year marks our final visit. Unfortunately, the feeling of not truly being welcome has grown stronger with each passing year. Now it’s clear to us: we won’t be coming back. Despite booking a larger pitch to give our children a bit more space to play, even that seems unwelcome here. Children playing is clearly not appreciated – nor is listening to soft music at a reasonable volume or simply enjoying a relaxed time together. The relaxed “camping atmosphere” we used to love is gone. The reception on arrival was anything but warm. Right from check-in, we felt more like a burden than valued guests – a sentiment that continued throughout our stay. Staff seemed distant, unhelpful, and often downright annoyed. The only positive note is the beautiful location right by the sea – but sadly, even that is no longer enough to outweigh the many negatives. Luckily, Denmark has many other wonderful campsites where families are genuinely welcomed. From now on, we’ll start our summer adventures somewhere else – where we can feel at home. That said, we do want to highlight one true gem: the small café/shop on site is absolutely lovely – full of heart and care. Despite booking a larger pitch to give our children... a bit more space to play, even that seems unwelcome here. The reception speaks German and makes you feel welcome. Drejby Camping is really ideal for families with children. The sanitary facilities are very tidy, but you should go to the showers in good time if possible, otherwise, as often... happened to us, you will only have cold water.
The beach is wonderful, close by and not as crowded as on the island of Rügen, for example.
We had rented a hut at this campsite, but we really only found the bare essentials there. As we have often rented similar properties on the Baltic Sea in Germany and the cabin on the campsite was by far the most expensive, it was very disappointing. We didn't even find a toaster there, which is normally standard.
There were no fly screens on the windows either. But you can go mosquito hunting in the evening with a fly swatter, which is part of the inventory.
Furthermore, there are no cupboards or sufficient hooks where you would normally put your things from your suitcase.
But as these huts are designed for up to four people, I really wonder how this is supposed to work. Fortunately, we had good weather and there were only two of us.
You won't find any leftover pepper, salt or other spices, which you would normally find everywhere from previous users, here. Well, that's just the way it is.
But if you want to cook something there, you have to bring everything with you.

I think it is particularly suitable... for families with children, as there is a small indoor area in addition to the outdoor playground and the swimming pool is also nice. We particularly like the beach. What struck us this time was that the pitches were not flooded, despite the bad weather. The site was well filled over Whitsun. We had a nice pitch at the end of the site. The pitches with a sea view are wonderful. As novice water sports enthusiasts, this campsite was recommended to us. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The site is beautifully laid out, the pitches are large and... easy to access. Everything is well-kept and clean. The operators and staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is a small café on site where you can buy bread rolls, homemade cakes and various snacks and a surf school.
The opening hours were still reduced as we were here in the low season. Bread rolls were also available at reception. In addition to the cleanliness, we were particularly impressed by the waste separation. Someone has really put some thought into this. It's just a shame that not all vacationers understand the point of an organic waste garbage can.
Our dogs also felt at home here, there are plenty of bags for their poop. For children there is a nice playground and an area for jumping and a swimming pool with a slide and mini golf.
Conclusion: This is the place to be if you enjoy water sports, love the wind, the sea and nature and can look after yourself.
If you are looking for a lively vacation location with restaurants and stores, this is not the place for you.

we were also in row 19 pitch with sea view
there are 8 pitches and these are also supposed to be between
80-100 square meters, but when everything is occupied, it's quite cramped.
It is also nice that you can quickly reach... the peninsula to the Kegnæs Fyr lighthouse from the CP, where you have a great panoramic view.
Cycling is also good.
Shopping by bike to Skovby approx. 15 min.

High price and showers and electricity extraGreat, unbeatably beautiful locationIt was only just over an hour's drive for us and yet it was a completely different beach to the Baltic Sea (which was within sight). We paid a few euros extra to be right by the sea: it was so worth it! Really great location, the beach is so beautiful and the size of the campsite is completely manageable.... The size of our pitch (beach baths 19 pitch 4) was just enough (caravan with drawbar approx. 5.20 m) plus car. Fortunately, we had the water in front of us. But the pitches behind us were very narrow and very close together. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet there. Towards the
Long weekend it got fuller and you could tell from the cleanliness of the wash houses.... one wash house is simply not enough for the amount of space. 4 showers !!! And queuing for the toilets. In addition, with three people we only had 8 shower units for 5 days on the shower card. This was subject to a charge and the additional booking. Electricity is also added per day, which adds up to a hefty price. There is plenty of space in the wash house. There is even a large indoor playroom for the children. Unfortunately, the outdoor pool was not yet open, but we would have had to pay extra for this too. The café/ riceteria was only open one day and we could only order bread rolls on site on one day. No snack bar or small store on site at the
place.
A wonderful location but with hefty prices and extra costs. When it gets crowded, it's no longer as relaxed and idyllic. The pool and the sun deck allow you not only to swim there but also to chill out. The whole place is very well maintained and the sanitary facilities are top clean. The kitchen invites you to linger. We didn't book anything in advance. We just sent an email on the way to the campsite. That went smoothly and nicely. We are familiar with the site itself. This is the 4th time we've been here. But we've always stayed on other pitches. Not far from our home, but somewhere else and that's a good thing.
