The pitches are large, situated on a meadow at the edge of the farm and have a great view. The natural pool is of course worth mentioning, but the recreation room with table tennis and climbing wall and the large playground with plenty of space... to run around are also great.
The site has a super nice, quiet location in a beautiful landscape directly on the cycle path and a trip to the Bärnau History Park should definitely be planned.
Due to the coronavirus, the sanitary facilities were rented out individually. We had the men's toilet with washbasin. There was only cold water and no shower facilities.
Basically, I can understand that and deal with it, I'm a camper and it's just because of Corona. However, the price, which is higher than that of the 5-star campsite we had previously visited in the Alps, is not appropriate from our point of view.
What really bothered us, however, were the extensive rules that were displayed in all the rooms. Some of the rules were self-evident, some were somewhat special, but there were also prohibitions. I can imagine that not all guests behave appropriately. From my point of view, however, this is an expected risk when you rent to strangers and, on the other hand, perhaps more likely to be clarified in a personal conversation. Until further notice, we will make our two toilets and our shower with toilet and washbasin available to one shared apartment at a time. Our guests really enjoy being able to use the sanitary unit for themselves.
On arrival, every guest is given an explanation of everything on our farm and of course we are happy to answer any questions. A few rules are essential, just like on every campsite :)Samodejno prevedeno.

Ideal place for children! Great playground, for rainy weather there is an indoor playroom with climbing wall. We liked the natural swimming pond best, which was beautifully landscaped. The whole area was well maintained and clean. The owners of the vacation farm were always friendly and helpful in all matters. The proximity to the barbecue hut where we could spend some time with our children was worth its weight in gold. With the natural pool with toddler area, the cycle path right... next door, playground and playrooms with climbing wall, TT, table football and organ, we were never bored and always had something to do. Every excursion into the surrounding countryside was a delight. The landscape and the many possibilities from the outdoor pool to the nature trail and the history park and button museum. Mom and Dad really enjoyed the sauna and campfire evening. We will be back! Attached to a vacation farm, there are two pitches with wonderful views of the Bohemian Forest and Fichtelgebirge. Absolute peace and quiet. Very friendly people, beautiful grounds with swimming pond, great cycling and hiking opportunities. Sanitary facilities... for the two pitches are in the sauna building, very clean and attractive. However, the price is ambitious. So far everything is wonderful: But now a well-intentioned criticism. Dear Birkholmhofler, I can't see why a guest who stays only 3, 4 or 5 days instead of 7 is fined. At the hotel: Well, changing beds is work. But for the pitch, unrolling a cable drum, a surcharge of 6 euros per night????? Why? You don't penalize guests for spending money with me. You should always reward guests. Suggestion: Why don't you do it like this in future: The basic price is 30 euros, for example. If you stay more than X days, you get a discount of Y percent as a reward. Those who stay less will not feel punished and will be satisfied. All the best for the future.Samodejno prevedeno.

The host family is very nice and concerned about the well-being of all guests, organizes barbecue evenings and gives good tips for cycling or hiking tours. The sunny pitches are slightly elevated directly on the Vizinalbahn cycle path. The natural swimming pond, playground and football pitch as well as the play equipment are great for children.Samodejno prevedeno.
