See commentary. NOTHING more will be invested here, as these investments can never be amortized. In addition, there are so many campers on PPs, pitches, etc. today who never need, let alone use, the infrastructure and therefore nothing is done.
Condition of the square is completely outdated
Sept/Oct 2023 Good and spacious access. The campsite is signposted on the road. English and German spoken.
Reservations are not absolutely necessary at this time (site is/was 30% full). Replies by e-mail are answered. The site is terraced. The camping pitches are located in the upper part. In between... there are bungalows. The road is a rumble track.
The sanitary facilities are more than outdated (even if the doors have been replaced at some point), but are still clean, there are enough wet cells and equipped with paper. The showers are "excellent" by Italian standards. You can get bread in the market without pre-ordering.
The pool is ok. But you need a swimming cap...
The nearby highway is more or less perceptible depending on the chosen place....But no problem at night.
The price was E 40.- for 2P and Ele. in the NS and for the sanitary quality etc. at the upper limit....

the walk with my 30kilo backpack was unpleasant, not only because of the climb, but rather because of the men who called out to me from their cars, whistled and honked after me or more than unpleasantly patterned my body as they passed me. the sanitary facilities are a disaster, the tiles are falling... off the walls, the ceiling is moldy, some chair boxes are missing & often the toilet paper was missing. in the shower there was no way to put things down/hang things up protected from water. it all seems a bit run down and the price...my god. 19,50€ for ONE person with ONE tent. not even in the main session. the bus connection wasn't bad but quite often the buses didn't come at all, were late or just passed me by... I only recommend it for the fireflies.

Condition
The campsite should be completely renovated. The sanitary facilities have probably not been repaired since they were built. Everything very unkempt. Ideal location for visiting Florence.

Beautiful campsite, the road gives a lot of noise, but a little further in the campsite quiet places. Clean, modern sanitary facilities. Ideal to go to Florence by bike, along the beautiful river. We even stayed here longer than planned. Dog friendly.

Tour through Tuscany
The campsite is laid out in terraces and is easy to reach even with a large motorhome. The pitches are mostly shady and there is certainly something for everyone. We had almost free choice at Whitsun without having to book in advance. Ideal for sightseeing in Florence as you can reach a bus stop in a... few minutes on foot. The store has everything you need but that was it. We also treated ourselves to a pizza there in the evening. It was good. Showers & toilets are clean but unfortunately also very outdated. Dogs are welcome. As for the background noise, the campsite towers over the highway on one side. It's not really annoying but it's a constant noise. However, there are also pitches facing in a different direction.

Ideal for excursions to Florence and the surrounding area
Bus station within walking distance, good connections to Florence! Camping itself doesn't have much to offer. Swimming pool closes at the end of September - a pity! Everything is outdated, nobody seems to be motivated to keep it tidy... Sanitary facilities old, but are cleaned regularly. Staff nice, helps as much as possible Bypass road is audible...

Expensive and unpractical
This was the most expensive of all the campings we stayed at in Italy (90 euros for 1 night with our caravan) and we didn't enjoy it. We had to walk very far for toilets or water access. The highway was really loud. The food expensive for small portions.

Close location in relation to Florence and the autobahn.

Expensive wine in the store. No "shuttle" to Venice like the Rome campground.
Comfortable
Comfortable. Cozy. Clean. Bungalow has dishes, gas. Not convenient to get to Florence. Walk to the bus about one kilometer. You can't park your car in Florence.

Very suitable for visiting Florence. Bus ticket is available at the reception. The ride to the center about 15 min. Staff very friendly and helpful. Sanitary clean, but in need of renovation.

General
Camping poorly maintained, with small plots on terraces impossible to climb because of the steep slope, very humid. After checking in, I leave again to Firenze, where I find another one close to the city and very good value for money.

Nice place for excursions to Florence
We stayed at the campsite for two nights and felt very comfortable there. The bus connection to Florence is good and cheap. You can get bus tickets at reception, which is also recommended as you can't get them on the bus. The walk to the bus stop is a bit long, but manageable for older children and adults... (10-15 minutes). The compulsory swimming cap is annoying, but unfortunately this is still very common in Italy. There is a nice but very determined "watchdog" at the pool who makes sure the rules are followed. He also keeps the young people in check, who often arrive here by the busload to go on their graduation trip. The pitches are spread over a large, beautiful Tuscan hill. Unfortunately, high-voltage power lines run across a good third of the site. The pizzeria is quite nice, but there are so many nice places in Florence itself that you would really be missing out if you didn't take every opportunity to eat there. But be careful, check the prices beforehand, otherwise you'll suddenly be paying €5 for a cup of coffee like we did.

Beautiful campsite and ideal for excursions to Florence (good bus connections). Sanitary facilities are good. Nice pool, unfortunately you lie in the blazing sun after swimming, no shade. The distribution of the pitches is a bit chaotic as there are no numbers. But otherwise recommended.
