Sabrina D.april 2025Always a pleasure.We spent 8 days at the Sanssouci campsite and we'll be back. We are dad, mom and our 13 year old son with multiple disabilities. Everything went really well, the site is almost barrier-free and wheelchair accessible. The sanitary facilities were very clean and well maintained at all times. The restaurant... and its staff are highly recommended. It is advisable to make a reservation and bring some time with you, but that is not a problem on vacation. The shuttle provided brings and picks you up from the S-Bahn, but you can also walk there in a good 20 minutes.

I have nothing against dogs, but in a very close neighborhood I find it annoying. - Marina B.april 2025PozitivnoEverything thereNegativnoHigh price, electricity extraVery nice place right on the waterAs we didn't know what to expect, we were very pleasantly surprised by the absolutely natural and beautiful location of this campsite. Situated directly on the lake, with pitches of different sizes. It must be wonderful here in summer, because the lake is great for swimming and you can hire lots of things... like canoes. The only drawback is the electricity supply: there is probably a sliding scale if you use more electricity. But one evening, for example, we were left without electricity because we had plugged in one more device. Then the entire power connection was immediately cut off. You could only ask reception about it the next day. They were also really nice and helpful! But at the end of the day, you don't know how much electricity each appliance uses and how much extra you have to book in advance. I'm sure a better arrangement could be found.
The campsite is also great for cycling tours, you can get to the center of Potsdam in 15 minutes.
The restaurant belonging to the campsite tasted great!
All in all, well worth the trip and deserves all the points!

We were in the 2nd row and had exactly the right view to fully enjoy the relaxation! There is a highly recommended restaurant right on the pitch (you... can book a table online) and you could also take your food to the pitch! There are also lots of activities on and around the water during the season!

If the reception is closed, you can still order bread rolls online and pay for them, but you can't pick them up.not our ♡-placeLarge CP by the lake. Large and small pitches, something for everyone. Wash house very modern, clean. We are here at Christmas and of course the sanitary facilities and water on site are reduced, which is understandable. Only one star deduction for the fact that we were placed far away from the sanitary... building at the far end of a virtually empty campsite, although I asked to be close when booking and it made no sense to place us so far away from everything. Especially as our power box for this pitch is not connected / does not work. 2nd star deduction, because we ordered bread rolls for the holidays, but the place is closed and you can't get bread rolls. This is of course more than annoying that we could book and pay for bread rolls, but then there were none for us. That was a bit of a shame for a short vacation over Christmas. This campsite is probably also a main hiking trail, which is unfortunately very annoying because there are always strangers walking around in the "living room" of the caravan and unfortunately they don't know the "camper rules". Unfortunately, this means that you can't leave anything outside, as the trust that campers have in campers is of no use here. All in all, not our CP. Addendum: Operator does not answer inquiries and the repayment of the bread roll order has not been received either. In the middle of beautiful nature right on the lake, you have created a place of strength where body and... mind can come to rest and recharge their batteries.
We really enjoyed our walks along the waterfront and our bike sightseeing tours to Potsdam's sights about 10-15 km away.
The exclusive, warm, clean and very appealing sanitary and kitchen building has one teeny tiny flaw in the shower cubicle: the actual bench is two stainless steel pipes set apart from each other. They make storage an adventure, especially for smaller items of clothing and objects. We recommend taking a bag with a sturdy base with you.
Hot water for showers and limited electricity at the pitch were included in the already reasonable overnight price. We think that the price per night is a little behind the scope of services and would accept an adjusted higher amount. We can't say whether the Wi-Fi reception on pitch B5 is always that bad.
We can wholeheartedly recommend you and wish you respectful, grateful, appreciative guests who recognize your royal treasure and treat it with care. A beautiful place by the lake! We always like to come back. You should book in advance in the restaurant otherwise you may have to drive out. The staff are always nice, unbureaucratic and helpful. Sanitary always clean. There is underfloor heating and good hand showers (not to take away!). Berlin main station about an hour by shuttle/car.
