The warm welcome we received upon arrival is worth mentioning. Our impressions from our first stay—a clean campground, great sites, and a clean, modern washhouse—were fully confirmed. The town is very easy to explore... on foot or by bike from here. It’s a truly lovely little town with a romantic little harbor. The family lagoon and the entire beach are highlights. Many thanks again to the operator: A sudden, strong storm—which was completely unforeseeable—damaged the awnings and other items for many campers, including us, though we were still lucky. The very next day, we received a certificate from the campground operator for our insurance stating that we were guests at the campground at the time of the damage. It started storming on Saturday, which didn't bother us too much, but then it started raining heavily at night. That wasn't too bad at first. But the combination of storm and rain was not so funny for... our cable drum. The result was that it blew the fuse. We went to the registration and the groundsman was immediately on his way to help us, but unfortunately he only put the fuse back in and then we were left with a defective cable and still without power. He said he was not allowed to give out power cables because they would not come back. Luckily we had a nice neighbor who was able to help us out with a dry power cable.

We can really only report good things. The sanitary facilities were well maintained, even the site staff said hello when you drove past. The staff at the registration desk were super helpful and no question was too much for them. The pitches are generously laid out. Only the weather didn't play along this time. For my feeling... nice layout. We had a great time. The only small downer for us personally is the gastronomy is very limited, the two restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the square are great, eat bomb but we would have liked a little more.
