Nicole S.avgust 2026PozitivnoA beautiful swimming lake with plenty of play options for children. The kiosk has a good selection and fair prices. Cozy bar with umbrellas—prices are reasonable. The restrooms (Building 2) were clean despite the large number of visitors at the campground.NegativnoUnfortunately, my preferred spot was not taken into account. In two of the showers, the lights weren't working; in another, the outlet wasn't working; and, unfortunately, the vending machine for chemical toilet cleaner was broken.Have a nice weekendWe had two kids with us, and they were kept busy. The entrance booth by the lake looks a bit untidy; a cleaner and neater design would make a better first impression on guests visiting the site for the first time. It would also be helpful to mark the parking spots where you can park your RV to check... in.
At the front desk, a very friendly lady helped us and explained where we needed to go—top-notch service.
The restaurant staff consists mainly of young people. Their interactions and the ordering process seemed a bit clunky and not entirely welcoming at times; a little more enthusiasm would help here. The food, however, was delicious.

Mooie ligging midden in de natuur aan een mooi zwemmeertje.NegativnoEigenlijk geen, alleen wil ik als tip geven om de mensen bij aankomst door te geven waar ze met de hond het bos in kunnen.Mooie goedverzorgde campingWij hebben er twee weken met veel plezier gestaan. We hadden een mooie plek in de schaduw direct aan het beekje, en de hond kon aangelijnd in het water. Was erg fijn, omdat het enkele dagen 38 graden was. Omgeving is erg mooi, vooral voor natuur liefhebbers. Eten in restaurants was lekker en niet te... duur. Porties waren erg groot. Vriendelijk personeel zowel op camping als in het restaurant. The restrooms are exceptionally well-maintained, and the showers are spacious and even have a handheld showerhead ;-) The lake is very clean. There could perhaps be a little more for kids at the lake, since some... of the pedal boats don’t have keys. Someone really needs to take care of that!!! Free access to the lake and the sunbathing area. There’s a bread roll service, a few shaded spots, and it’s not overcrowded. We really enjoyed our stay. Despite the holiday and the high occupancy rate, it was fairly quiet on the grounds. The restrooms looked as though they were cleaned even at night. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking and biking around the campground.... A Kneipp path and a free outdoor pool are included. The on-site restaurant is great and offers good value for the price.

If you are only traveling alone with a dog, it is still acceptable, but unsuitable for families, as the area is not so great for children. Dogs therefore have to stay put, which is a shame. The access to the forest could also be improved. We were there in April and the selection in the store is already limited.Extended weekend at Lake ClausenThe pitches are large and level, with water and drainage connections and, of course, electricity. Shopping, beer gardens and restaurants are within easy reach.

The poor mobile reception is simply due to the location and the campsite operator can't help it.
WLAN could be improved, but we even watched TV (with a bit of jerkiness).
