The sanitary facilities on the tent meadow 2 were not nice. Shower defective, not so attractive. At the entrance to the men's side, the floor inside was defective... and provisionally repaired.
Sanitary building 1 was ok but very cramped. There were no facilities for hanging up your wash bag, bath towel and clothes in the showers.
Sanitary building 2 was better but a bit away from the tent meadow. The showers were bigger and cleaner. However, there was also no possibility to hang up your wash bag, bath towel and clothes.

We were joined by our dog and two grandchildren for a few days. We can only recommend this campsite! It has a great location in the Palatinate Forest and the lake is perfect for swimming and bathing. We also loved the restaurant on the site,... especially the beer garden and the food. The sanitary facilities were also excellent and were cleaned frequently. We found the restaurant did not meet our expectations. We went there 3 times, but only the pizza was actually good. I think the prices are too expensive for the region, especially for the quality of the food and drinks.
It's not the campsite's fault that our neighbors hadn't brought up their dogs or children and could be heard at least 100 m away!
We will be back and have already pre-booked for 2026.

Despite the busy Easter weekend, our stay was relaxed and pleasant. The site was full, but everything was well organized. We particularly noticed how regularly the "cleaning fairies"... were out and about in the sanitary facilities - everything was clean and tidy at all times.
There was also a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the fully booked restaurant. As always, the entire team (reception, restaurant, umbrella bar and kiosk) was warm and attentive.
And: the quality of the food has improved even more compared to 2023 - the taste is really delicious and there is something for everyone.
You can tell how much love and commitment goes into this place.
