It would be nice to have some comfortable lounge chairs by the mobile home. No umbrellas by the pool. Lots of gnats in the shaded area.

Great campsites near the ocean, the hospitality

A major improvement in the restrooms—but for a 5-star hotel, it’s dismal. We happened to be there during a time when it was difficult to take showers or wash up, and in some shower stalls with toilets, we were even forced to fill a trash can with water to flush—I find that unacceptable. This is unacceptable—we should have been warned upon arrival, since the problem was already known at the time of our stay. The guests asked for a goodwill gesture; the one who still had to pay for her stay in a U1 room received a refund, but since we’d already paid in full, we weren’t eligible. To me, that’s disrespectful.

Very friendly welcome; the campsite is clean and easy to get to, as are the restrooms and shower facilities. Perfect access to the beach—just a few steps away.

The stairs leading to the beach have been washed away at the base, and the last few steps are loose, so you have to be very careful when going down.

Everything was perfect. The restrooms were very clean, and the showers were very clean and very pleasant. It was quiet, and the best part was the sound of the waves… Pure bliss.

The ground isn't level enough for the RV, and it would be ideal if it weren't so sandy. But that's just to make things better—otherwise, it's really great.

The campground was quiet, and the restrooms were just a short walk away. The beach and pool were also within a 5-minute walk.

Unfortunately, the bathrooms are a bit outdated... Taking a shower at certain times was quite an adventure because only a trickle of water came out of the showerhead.

This is my 7th(?) time at this campground, and it was great again! The pool is wonderful—it’s already open at 9:00 a.m. The reception staff is friendly, and there’s a nice store for bread, wine, and essentials. Beautiful surroundings! I wouldn’t recommend anyone go here, hahaaaa

We still don't think the restaurant is a place worth going to. It's not cozy, and the food isn't really that good either. But then again, everyone has their own opinion. The small restaurant on the outside is okay for a quick bite. Be sure to make a reservation.

Friendly surroundings and staff, good accommodations, a nice layout—no rows of identical, straight buildings—with both sun and shade, and just a short walk from the beach. In short, a great place to relax and enjoy yourself.

The only issue, perhaps, is that free Wi-Fi is only available at the front desk—please make it available throughout the entire campground.

The mobile homes and campsites are all separated from one another by hedges, so you have more privacy than at many other campsites. The entertainment and sports program was great, and the proximity to the beach was fantastic. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and knowledgeable.

The wash houses are getting a bit old, and for such a large property with so many trees and hedges, you’d probably need a larger gardening/maintenance team to keep everything looking well-maintained. The paid Wi-Fi often didn’t work at our mobile home, but since I reported this several times during our stay, they kindly didn’t charge us for it. Very nice. At the poolside restaurant, we were required to make a reservation on Friday evening and had to specify our entire meal order at the time of booking.

The campground has a lot to offer: clean restrooms, entertainment if you’re interested, a store that carries everything you need for daily life, and very friendly, polite staff. The beach access and the beautiful sandy beach are also among the campground’s highlights. Its proximity to Saint-Georges de Didonne and Royan is another highlight—both are easily accessible by bike. We felt very comfortable there.

Since this campground has several areas and there are only four washing machines in the main area, I think it would be great if the other areas—whether across from or next to the main one—also had one or two washing machines available in their restroom facilities. That way, people wouldn't have to walk so far to do their laundry.
