This year, we stayed in one of those barrels and were very satisfied. It’s definitely spacious enough for two people. The campground is wonderful, with its friendly staff.... From there, we took our Canadian canoe straight out onto the narrow Luzin River. Simply fantastic. When we arrived, we were given all the necessary information and personally shown to our campsite. The campsite was a great size, and the walk to the restrooms was very short. Fresh bread rolls... every day and a nice little supermarket with friendly staff put a smile on my face every morning. There’s a wonderful sense of peace on the campground; aside from the sounds of nature, you could hardly hear a thing. With the warm weather, we loved spending plenty of time at the swimming spots to cool off. There’s something for everyone here, whether you’re looking for peace and quiet or have kids—it’s definitely family-friendly. The front desk is always well-staffed, and if you have any questions or problems, they’ll help you right away. A big thank you, especially to the cleaning team. The girls do a great job here. Even before we arrived, during our initial on-site discussions, I was impressed by the service. That impression was surpassed during check-in and throughout our entire stay. I can’t remember ever encountering such friendly... and knowledgeable staff at a campground who go out of their way to accommodate guests’ needs. Great location directly on the lake (Breiter Luzin), the Haussee and the narrow Luzin nearby. All 3 lakes have great water quality.
