Anita H.avgust 20265.0AHAnita H.avgust 2026PozitivnoMy first camping experience with my own tent—and I really enjoyed my short stay at Camp Lucija. ❤️ From booking my tent site to my arrival and throughout my stay, everything went smoothly. It was especially nice that I was allowed to bring my dog. I felt very comfortable and would love to come back! 🏕️🐾NegativnoAs far as I'm concerned, there was nothing negative. I was very satisfied with my stay and my campsite .❤️ A wonderful stay with my dogI really enjoyed my short stay at Camp Lucija. ❤️ Everything went smoothly, from booking my tent site to my arrival and throughout my stay. I especially loved the dog beach—it was just perfect for me and my dog! 🐾❤️ The camp has everything you need for a pleasant stay, and the atmosphere is very welcoming.... I felt right at home from the very beginning.
And one little highlight to finish off: The non-alcoholic pineapple beer was really delicious! 😉🍍🍺

Relatively loud, very small pitchesOld and overpricedIt's disappointing: a relatively beautiful and centrally located campsite lets itself go like this. Little in return for a lot of money.
Unfortunately, that seems to be the program here on the Slovenian coast. - 4.0MMM M.oktober 20224.0MMM M.oktober 2022PozitivnoIdeally located for discovering the Slovenian coast. Piran and the salt marshes are within walking distance (2 hours), the promenade of Portorož is about 15 minutes away on foot and leads past the beautiful marina. Koper and Trieste are easily accessible by car. Many restaurants are nearby, try Gostišče Ribič. Slots with sea view are beautiful. The infrastructure of the camp is fine, the buildings are old but clean, clean like the whole camp. Very good electrical installations. Sufficiently large pitches. Sufficient shady and sunny pitches available. Supermarket on site and a large one within 10 minutes walking distance.NegativnoRemember, this is Portorož, people are enjoying their vacation, maybe you are about to go to the next party or music session: some would call it noise, others a vibrant night. Join in and enjoy it. It would be nice to have more water connections / gray water drainsIdeally located to discover the Slovenian coastWe were very satisfied: staff, infrastructure, cleanliness, location all top.
At first we were a little worried about the low ratings - unfounded, as we soon learned.
- Yes, some buildings would need renovation to be really nice. But nothing is broken or even dirty.
- Noise: we were there outside... the high season and don't particularly like noise. Yes, the good atmosphere was audible, but by no means disturbing. It is Portoroz and not an Alpine lake camp and so there are noises associated with the joy of life.
We actually had plans to travel on, but stayed because of the wonderful opportunities to explore the great surroundings - even without a car. - 2.0ASAlfred S.junij 20222.0ASAlfred S.junij 2022PozitivnoLocation, parking spaces, close to the town and Piran, directly on the cycle pathNegativnoMusic from the village unbearably loud. Sanitary facilities in need of renovationShort vacation over the long weekendWe planned to stay 3 nights, but due to the noise pollution at night, we shortened our stay.
The site is actually in a great location and there are a wide variety of pitches.
We "treated" ourselves to a pitch right by the sea, which unfortunately turned out to be a mistake.
The background music (coming... from the village opposite) is absolutely bearable until around 23:00. After that, for reasons I can't explain, it gets louder and louder. The whole thing goes on until about 02:30, and sleep is out of the question until then.
The owner could also invest in renovating the sanitary facilities. The washing facilities are really getting on in years.
For the above reasons, we won't be booking this site again in the near future, which is a shame as the location is ideal.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. Bodite prvi! - 3.0
Christian G.april 20223.0Christian G.april 2022PozitivnoPlace very clear, good location to explore Portoroz and PiranNegativnoPitches by the sea without water connection, wash houses very outdated, swimming in midsummer?Small campsite in a good location for sightseeingWe stayed at this site for 3 nights in April. The site is quite well laid out. Unfortunately, the pitches by the sea have no water connection. The wash houses are very outdated. The supermarket on site was still closed, so I can't say anything about the range of goods on offer. There is also a bar and... a restaurant on the site, where we had an excellent meal. A big advantage of the campsite is its location. You can reach Portoroz and Piran even without bicycles. Either on foot or by bus. In high summer, the campsite will be very busy and I don't think there are any great bathing opportunities. There are also water sports facilities nearby.Samodejno prevedeno.Še noben kamper ni označil te ocene kot koristno. - 1.0KRKarl R.september 20201.0KRKarl R.september 2020PozitivnoThe location to Piran and PortorozNegativnoThe sanitary facilitiesToo old and too expensiveFor us, the location to Piran was the deciding factor for camping there three times.
The site itself would be quite good if it weren't for the sanitary facilities. Rusty screws on the doors (risk of injury), mold in the showers! Simply horrible.
On a positive note, there are things that are not directly... related to the pitch.
For example, the proximity of the bus station, the possibility of taking long walks to Portoroz, the possibility of swimming in the sea, a beautiful, shady sunbathing lawn at the end of the campsite. Bringing a dog is also no problem.
Depending on the time of year (high season), the bar area can be relatively noisy.
Conclusion: As the operator has been aware of the problems for years and still doesn't change anything, this campsite will no longer be one of our destinations in the futureSamodejno prevedeno.1 kamper je to oceno označil kot koristno. - 2.0ILIvan L.junij 20202.0ILIvan L.junij 2020PozitivnoCentral and beautiful hiking trailsNegativnoShowers and WC not clean!OK for transitThe location is ok but the cleanliness is not! Great view from some placesNegativnoNocturnal background music, sanitary facilities, small pitches in some places, relatively expensive.Super location is the main advantageSome premium pitches have a great view of the sea and Portorosz, which is illuminated at night. Unfortunately, most of the premium pitches are very small. The sanitary facilities are mediocre at best with weaknesses in detail. - 2.0TBThomas B.avgust 20192.0TBThomas B.avgust 2019PozitivnoRight by the sea and supermarket nearby.NegativnoLoud, dirtyOverpriced and dirtyWe stayed here for three nights with our camper at the beginning of August. We paid 161 €. We got dirty showers, toilets without toilet paper and parties everywhere. We thought Seeside would be quite good, but it was completely overcrowded, so we opted for the cheaper standard pitch for €6. We were lucky and had a pitch fenced off by a hedge. OK for one night, not recommended for longer!Samodejno prevedeno.1 kamper je to oceno označil kot koristno.
- 2.0CCChristian C.avgust 20192.0CCChristian C.avgust 2019NegativnoSanitary facilities in old, poor and dirty condition.Too expensive, too old and not cleanWe were only on the site for 1 night. With a motorhome it works if you are self-sufficient. There are too few sanitary facilities, which are also not clean and very dated. We had to pay 55 euros for 1 night. 20,- Euro/night for the pitch (no persons included!), 14 pP/night, 2,50 Taxe pP/night and 1,- Euro pP one-time registration fee.Samodejno prevedeno.1 kamper je to oceno označil kot koristno.

The staff were very friendly, we were allowed to choose our pitch and the site was quite busy. Overall, I have to say that the site makes a somewhat "rustic" but good overall impression. The sanitary facilities are simple, a little dated, but clean!... Overall a relaxed site, we would go there again. Nice location, often music from the opposite shore in the evening, but it didn't bother us.
