My first camping experience with my own tent—and I really enjoyed my short stay at Camp Lucija. ❤️ From booking my tent site to my arrival and throughout my stay, everything went smoothly. It was especially nice that I was allowed to bring my dog. I felt very comfortable and would love to come back! 🏕️🐾
Negativ
As far as I'm concerned, there was nothing negative. I was very satisfied with my stay and my campsite .
❤️ A wonderful stay with my dog
I really enjoyed my short stay at Camp Lucija. ❤️ Everything went smoothly, from booking my tent site to my arrival and throughout my stay. I especially loved the dog beach—it was just perfect for me and my dog! 🐾❤️ The camp has everything you need for a pleasant stay, and the atmosphere is very welcoming.... I felt right at home from the very beginning.

And one little highlight to finish off: The non-alcoholic pineapple beer was really delicious! 😉🍍🍺

I’d love to come back! 🏕️☀️🐾

The location is ok - you can walk to Portoroz and otherwise do a lot by bike.
Negativ
Very old sanitary facilities - clean but simply very unsightly. Relatively loud, very small pitches
Old and overpriced
It's disappointing: a relatively beautiful and centrally located campsite lets itself go like this. Little in return for a lot of money.
Unfortunately, that seems to be the program here on the Slovenian coast. What a shame!

we were on a premium pitch with sea view. at night noise from discotheque on the other shore, constantly scooters / mopeds drove past is used as a thoroughfare although prohibited. then young people sit on the so-called beach and are loud. Dogs allowed but no possibility to get to the water. the so-called beach is a concrete slab with 3 stairs no beach!!!! Sanitary facilities are dirty and old. offered much too expensive.
Premium space = bad space
Never again!!! We left after one night!!! Price performance too expensive!

loud, expensive, outdated
Rating
This place is not to be recommended; at the weekends there is noise from the bay with disco music until 3 a.m., sanitary facilities probably still from socialist times - totally outdated and run-down; inflated prices even in the off-season; only the location is good.

Address of the reception, had booked pitch with sea view, was in the second row, were pointed directly to the noise, booking via Pitchcom, places very narrow, those with sea view, if you have it then are without water, sanitary facilities are a real cheek, totally rotten, can only advise against this place

Sanitary facilities and price-performance ratio
Just passing through
Prices like at a 5* campsite, sanitary facilities, old, crowded and moldy. In do it yourself DIY store style. Showers like porta-potties with 40 cm access height. Supermarket has opening hours depending on the weather (was closed). When sending the sanitary facilities complained - answer " We hear that every day"

Ideally located for discovering the Slovenian coast. Piran and the salt marshes are within walking distance (2 hours), the promenade of Portorož is about 15 minutes away on foot and leads past the beautiful marina. Koper and Trieste are easily accessible by car. Many restaurants are nearby, try Gostišče Ribič. Slots with sea view are beautiful. The infrastructure of the camp is fine, the buildings are old but clean, clean like the whole camp. Very good electrical installations. Sufficiently large pitches. Sufficient shady and sunny pitches available. Supermarket on site and a large one within 10 minutes walking distance.
Negativ
Remember, this is Portorož, people are enjoying their vacation, maybe you are about to go to the next party or music session: some would call it noise, others a vibrant night. Join in and enjoy it. It would be nice to have more water connections / gray water drains
Ideally located to discover the Slovenian coast
We were very satisfied: staff, infrastructure, cleanliness, location all top.

At first we were a little worried about the low ratings - unfounded, as we soon learned.

- Yes, some buildings would need renovation to be really nice. But nothing is broken or even dirty.

- Noise: we were there outside... the high season and don't particularly like noise. Yes, the good atmosphere was audible, but by no means disturbing. It is Portoroz and not an Alpine lake camp and so there are noises associated with the joy of life.

We actually had plans to travel on, but stayed because of the wonderful opportunities to explore the great surroundings - even without a car. We would love to come back

Music from the village unbearably loud. Sanitary facilities in need of renovation
Short vacation over the long weekend
We planned to stay 3 nights, but due to the noise pollution at night, we shortened our stay.
The site is actually in a great location and there are a wide variety of pitches.
We "treated" ourselves to a pitch right by the sea, which unfortunately turned out to be a mistake.
The background music (coming... from the village opposite) is absolutely bearable until around 23:00. After that, for reasons I can't explain, it gets louder and louder. The whole thing goes on until about 02:30, and sleep is out of the question until then.
The owner could also invest in renovating the sanitary facilities. The washing facilities are really getting on in years.
For the above reasons, we won't be booking this site again in the near future, which is a shame as the location is ideal.

Pitches by the sea without water connection, wash houses very outdated, swimming in midsummer?
Small campsite in a good location for sightseeing
We stayed at this site for 3 nights in April. The site is quite well laid out. Unfortunately, the pitches by the sea have no water connection. The wash houses are very outdated. The supermarket on site was still closed, so I can't say anything about the range of goods on offer. There is also a bar and... a restaurant on the site, where we had an excellent meal. A big advantage of the campsite is its location. You can reach Portoroz and Piran even without bicycles. Either on foot or by bus. In high summer, the campsite will be very busy and I don't think there are any great bathing opportunities. There are also water sports facilities nearby.

The location to Piran and Portoroz
Negativ
The sanitary facilities
Too old and too expensive
For us, the location to Piran was the deciding factor for camping there three times.
The site itself would be quite good if it weren't for the sanitary facilities. Rusty screws on the doors (risk of injury), mold in the showers! Simply horrible.
On a positive note, there are things that are not directly... related to the pitch.
For example, the proximity of the bus station, the possibility of taking long walks to Portoroz, the possibility of swimming in the sea, a beautiful, shady sunbathing lawn at the end of the campsite. Bringing a dog is also no problem.
Depending on the time of year (high season), the bar area can be relatively noisy.
Conclusion: As the operator has been aware of the problems for years and still doesn't change anything, this campsite will no longer be one of our destinations in the future

A campsite near the city with a beach
The site itself has already been described many times: beach, close to town, relatively expensive: €30/day, but the sanitary facilities are really very old and in need of renovation. But the cleanliness could really be improved. Cobwebs everywhere, the light doesn't work everywhere.....

Super location. Great view from some places
Negativ
Nocturnal background music, sanitary facilities, small pitches in some places, relatively expensive.
Super location is the main advantage
Some premium pitches have a great view of the sea and Portorosz, which is illuminated at night. Unfortunately, most of the premium pitches are very small. The sanitary facilities are mediocre at best with weaknesses in detail. Especially at the height of summer, there is constant background music at night from Portorosz opposite.

Loud, dirty
Overpriced and dirty
We stayed here for three nights with our camper at the beginning of August. We paid 161 €. We got dirty showers, toilets without toilet paper and parties everywhere. We thought Seeside would be quite good, but it was completely overcrowded, so we opted for the cheaper standard pitch for €6. We were lucky and had a pitch fenced off by a hedge. OK for one night, not recommended for longer!

Sanitary facilities in old, poor and dirty condition.
Too expensive, too old and not clean
We were only on the site for 1 night. With a motorhome it works if you are self-sufficient. There are too few sanitary facilities, which are also not clean and very dated. We had to pay 55 euros for 1 night. 20,- Euro/night for the pitch (no persons included!), 14 pP/night, 2,50 Taxe pP/night and 1,- Euro pP one-time registration fee.

Quite ok, nice place
Despite some of the bad reviews, we drove to the site. The staff were very friendly, we were allowed to choose our pitch and the site was quite busy. Overall, I have to say that the site makes a somewhat "rustic" but good overall impression. The sanitary facilities are simple, a little dated, but clean!... Overall a relaxed site, we would go there again. Nice location, often music from the opposite shore in the evening, but it didn't bother us. There is still a real camper feeling here, not de luxe.

Nasty noise from disco. Sleeping without oropax not possible
Unfortunately hellishly lukewarm
On the whole, not a bad place if it weren't for the infernal disco noise from the town opposite. Every evening ramba zamba at full volume until 3am. If you need that, ok. Otherwise we can only advise against it. It's hardly possible to sleep.
