The campground and the scenery are a dream; you can really relax here. Iâd love to have a permanent site. 339. But unfortunately, itâs just a dream. What strikes me is that you really canât hear the dogs on the other side at all. You really have to say that the Weber family goes above and beyond for their guests. Iâm from Pfarrkirchen and realized long agoâwhy wander far away when the good stuff is so close by? đNegativnoWhat bugs me a little is this weird internet connection. It suddenly cuts out for long periods of time. And the restrooms could use a good scrub, since thereâs still some pretty caked-on grime left over from the last group that stayed here. But of course, thatâs just nitpicking. Otherwise, everythingâs perfect⊠Especially the accessible restroom in the menâs area. And the first shower stall in the menâs restroom needs some oil and a fine adjustmentâitâs been sticking for a very long time. And the trash containers are a disaster because people donât sort their trash and are probably even dumping stuff from home in there. Surely I can drop off old grills and electrical appliances at the recycling center? And whatâs totally unacceptable is that a man keeps rummaging through the trashâyou just donât do that đ§ Heâs poking around in the bins with a pole and looking through the bags for bottles and other items. Legally, thatâs a no-go.RatingAll in all, the staff is very professional and very friendly. The sites are clean, and having both wastewater and fresh water connections right at the site is a definite plus. Only cardboard is separated from general waste, and glass is separated as well. We spent the first four days with our friends and the remaining three days with two of our grandchildren. The weather was great, and so was the food. The staff at the information desk and in the restaurant were, as always, very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. Weâll definitely be back.

Large dishwasher.NegativnoCleanliness and maintenance at the vacation home left much to be desired.Vacation home with room for improvement in terms of cleanliness and maintenanceAt first glance, the vacation home in VitalDorf seemed okay. We quickly found flaws and cleanliness issues in various corners and spots. The most serious problem was the smell of urine coming from the toilet. On days 2 and 4 (immediately after we complained at the front desk), something was poured into... the toilet, which improved the smell for a few days, but it became noticeably stronger again toward the end of our stay. We limited our time in the bathroom/toilet to the bare minimum (ideally with the door open). The water pressure in the bathroom/toilet and in the kitchen is low. We had to throw the toilet paper directly into the water because the front half of the toilet had no water and the paper wouldnât flush. Two light bulbs in the bathroom were broken; we reported this, and they were replaced immediately. Action was taken immediately after we reported the issue, but one still wonders why a house with broken lights and a smelly toilet was handed over in this condition.
Regarding cleanliness: the dust on the radiator in the bathroom is already âbaked on.â On the light fixture above the mirror, the dust only comes off if you scrape it with your fingernail. Both of these issues couldnât have simply been overlooked during the last cleaning; they likely havenât been wiped down with a damp cloth in months.
In the kitchen, dried food scraps were still clinging to some of the cookware. The two nonstick pans were so scratched that they were no longer usable. The stove was a relic from a bygone era that gave off an unpleasant odor as soon as a burner was turned on. We thought the contents (milk) had burned, which wasnât the case.
Oven mitts and a baking dish would have been nice.
At least there were coffee filters and paper towels. We made extensive use of the large dishwasher, but we cooked on the camping stove at our friendsâ site next door. Great swimming lakes everywhereâplenty of space and always clean. Convenient access to the local Edeka supermarket. Overall, a great setting. Plenty of opportunities for your dog to run around. All in all, unbeatable at this price.NegativnoThere are no downsides. At most, you might want to tackle the bathroom facilities and renovate them at some point, but thatâs just nitpicking. At our place, a few things were missing from the room, and after asking several times, some of the issues were resolved. Unfortunately, not all of the problems were fixed during my entire stay. They could make a little more effort. The hotelâs own restaurant is highly recommended. We were very satisfied. Unfortunately, there was one waiterâa bit older with a slight foreign accentâwho was quite unfriendly toward me, as well as toward one or two other customers, from what I noticed during my stay. I thought that was a real shameâI almost left the restaurant and went somewhere else. But during your stay, you realize that the furnishings could really use a major overhaul!!!Chalet: First impression: WOW; second impression: nothing has been done since it was built in '23Unfortunately, there were far too many shortcomings. We had a last-minute deal; otherwise, I would have been annoyed the entire vacationâweâre not really demanding people, but rather âsimpleâ campers.
Bottom line: you get the feeling that after the chalets were built, nothing was ever done, replaced,... or checked againâlet alone thoroughly cleanedâjust the bare minimum!!
Bathroom: The soap and shampoo dispensers were empty upon arrival. The door sticks halfway open; the toilet brush needs replacing; the water pressure in the shower is insaneâthe water doesnât drain properly,
flooding half the bathroomâand thereâs no squeegee.
The sofa, blanket, and pillows in the living area were covered in light-colored dog hair; overall, it wasnât clean! The blanket smells like itâs ânever been washedâ and like a dog!
No way to block out the light in the bedroom, so the night was over by 5:00 a.m. Pillows and blankets were covered in yellow stainsâdisgusting. âClose your eyes and tough it outâ was our motto. They really need to be washed or replaced.
Dead flies, wasps, and spider webs were everywhere in front of the large windows.
Wi-Fi didnât workâno connection!
The kitchen lacks everyday essentials: a whisk, pot holders, and a baking dish would have been nice. The nonstick pans are so scratched up that you canât use them anymore!
Everything there looks worn out. The cutting boards are all scratched up.
There was still trash in the trash cabinet.
The remote control didnât workâluckily, I had my own batteries with me.
Garden: overall, quite unkempt. The hedge is overwhelmingâit could have been trimmed at the start of the season. Unmowed lawn.
Instead, there were loud noises from a pressure washer or lawn mower three times early in the morning.
Unfortunately, there werenât fresh rolls every morning.
Somehow, I didnât really feel welcome! Iâve never been so critical on vacation before. Too bad. And itâs really questionable how they ended up with a 5-star rating. The spa area is great, of course!
