Quiet location, peaceful setting, the restaurant is good and the staff is friendly, dog park next to the pool, fully automatic coffee machine in the chalet

At first glance, the chalet looks great!! But during your stay, you realize that the furnishings could really use a major overhaul!!!
Chalet: First impression: WOW; second impression: nothing has been done since it was built in '23
Unfortunately, there were far too many shortcomings. We had a last-minute deal; otherwise, I would have been annoyed the entire vacation—we’re not really demanding people, but rather “simple” campers.
Bottom line: you get the feeling that after the chalets were built, nothing was ever done, replaced,... or checked again—let alone thoroughly cleaned—just the bare minimum!!
Bathroom: The soap and shampoo dispensers were empty upon arrival. The door sticks halfway open; the toilet brush needs replacing; the water pressure in the shower is insane—the water doesn’t drain properly,
flooding half the bathroom—and there’s no squeegee.
The sofa, blanket, and pillows in the living area were covered in light-colored dog hair; overall, it wasn’t clean! The blanket smells like it’s “never been washed” and like a dog!
No way to block out the light in the bedroom, so the night was over by 5:00 a.m. Pillows and blankets were covered in yellow stains—disgusting. “Close your eyes and tough it out” was our motto. They really need to be washed or replaced.
Dead flies, wasps, and spider webs were everywhere in front of the large windows.
Wi-Fi didn’t work—no connection!
The kitchen lacks everyday essentials: a whisk, pot holders, and a baking dish would have been nice. The nonstick pans are so scratched up that you can’t use them anymore!
Everything there looks worn out. The cutting boards are all scratched up.
There was still trash in the trash cabinet.
The remote control didn’t work—luckily, I had my own batteries with me.
Garden: overall, quite unkempt. The hedge is overwhelming—it could have been trimmed at the start of the season. Unmowed lawn.
Instead, there were loud noises from a pressure washer or lawn mower three times early in the morning.
Unfortunately, there weren’t fresh rolls every morning.
Somehow, I didn’t really feel welcome! I’ve never been so critical on vacation before. Too bad. And it’s really questionable how they ended up with a 5-star rating. The spa area is great, of course! The bathrooms looked fantastic, too!!

Everything was great—from the spacious campsites with water and waste disposal to the always-clean restrooms and the consistently friendly staff. The activities for kids and even our dogs were absolutely fantastic. The wellness area is definitely something to be proud of. The dining options leave almost nothing to be desired. We’ll definitely be back.

We’d love to come back. The swimming ponds are great, but they were practically “taken over” by the children and teenagers—especially the dock. There was constant shouting and splashing, which bothered us; we weren’t able to relax. And it wasn’t even vacation time.
Since there were no stickers available at your campsite, we’d appreciate it if you could send us one.

We’re sorry that the comfort campsite was too small for your trailer and that you didn’t find the relaxation you were looking for at the natural swimming lakes. On hot summer days, our swimming lakes are very popular with families with children and are accordingly lively.
For guests seeking more peace and quiet, we recommend our SaunaWorld with its outdoor lounging area, which is available exclusively to guests ages 14 and older. It’s also generally quieter there outside of family swimming hours at the indoor thermal pool.

The pond in the back is never occupied—why not make this area dog-friendly h -After 3 days, trash cans full of poop bags still hadn’t been emptied (swarming with flies and smelly) -There’s a lot of dirt, trash, and broken glass lying around at the recycling center

All of the negative points mentioned above could be easily fixed and are mostly minor issues, but they quickly stand out as very negative.

The campground is very clean and offers great value for the price. The food at the barn is great, and the staff are very friendly.

We were at the end of the Penguin Trail, where the bushes are very tall; they definitely need to be trimmed back... You can't see the view anymore. That's a real shame, since the campground advertises itself based on that view...

The campground is very clean, and the campsites are excellent.
The food at Stadl is excellent, and the staff are very friendly.
The downside is that we were at the end of the Piguinweg, where the bushes are very tall, so you can’t see the view anymore. They really need to be trimmed back.
It’s a real shame, since the campground advertises itself based on that great view.

First impressions count and that really is the case here. There is something for everyone to experience, whether young or old.

When the vacation is over. It is panorama camping, perhaps the only disadvantage for seniors is that the walk back is more difficult, but there are real golf ports and therefore the cab is safe.
Super great campsite for everyone
As already mentioned, first impressions count and we were really impressed.
Beautifully tended roses and they exude a wonderful fragrance.
Panorama Camping - everyone knows it's uphill. Even older people have a cab here, the golf cart from the crew, which I think is great that the service is given here....
Very dog friendly.
For families, a great, very well-kept playground.
The bathing lakes 3 of them suitable for relaxing or swimming in different depths.
The small, fine wellness area is very popular at family times, but the water is super warm.
The pitch is large and has everything you need.
Sanitary area always found clean, warm water for showering and also here everything from family bathroom to children's bathroom, not the most modern but you are not in a hotel and cleanliness is what counts here for me.
The restaurant looks great from the outside, but I can't rate it from the inside.
Rental accommodation also looks great from the outside.
The kiosk is very small but there are vending machines where almost everything is available.
We can only say that it's worth spending your vacation here.

Very nice and clean place! Everything is well maintained, whether it's the wash houses or the swimming pool. The prices for camping and breakfast buffet/food are very fair and absolutely not expensive. The Huckenhamer Stadl is ultra cozy and beautiful. Great ambience! There is something for every age group here and it never gets boring! Highly recommended! Very important: the entire staff is super friendly & helpful! You feel at home here! An absolute dream vacation for the whole family - we will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
When you're traveling with four children between the ages of 6 and 11, you never really know in advance whether everyone will be happy in the end. But what can I say? This campsite did it! We had a fantastic time and... everyone - really everyone - was happy throughout.
The great service started even before we arrived: When we booked by phone, we were given extremely friendly and competent advice. They really took time for us and gave us a pitch recommendation, which turned out to be an absolute hit for our family dynamic on site.
We loved the site itself from the very first minute. Everything is super clean and well-kept, which is extremely important to us, especially with several children. The location is simply fantastic and invites you to relax. And the best thing is that the price is simply great and absolutely fair!
Huge praise goes to the activities on offer for the kids. There was never a dull moment and there was just the right thing for all ages. While the children were busy, we parents were able to enjoy the culinary delights. The on-site restaurant is really great - the food tastes excellent and the service is super friendly. We were also completely won over by the breakfast: there's no unnecessary excess or frills. It's an honest, solid breakfast with everything you need for a good start to the day. And the price? Simply unbeatable!
One thing is certain for us: the overall package is right here from A to Z. The hospitality is tangibly genuine and we will definitely be back! Thank you very much for this great vacation!

We had for a beautiful detached wooden cottage near the little chapel. A cozy campground with a beautiful sauna and thermal pool. Very good restaurant with acceptable prices. Friendly staff. Nice marked hiking and biking trails around the campsite and in landkreiss Rotall-Inn. Mainly locals and few tourists. The rental of the wooden cottage was very acceptable. The beds had good mattresses.

The opening hours of the indoor pool for families with children are very limited outside of the vacations. The ACSI card is advertised, but was not accepted when paying (obviously the mistake was made at check-in by the receptionist). The electricity is charged according to kilowatts used and is very expensive - but we were aware of this in advance.
Very clean facility, but customer service could be improved
The campsite is close to the village and is very well connected to the transport network. The grounds are well maintained and the wellness area is well equipped. Unfortunately, the indoor pool for families with children is only available in the afternoon.
The administration, especially the problem with payment with ACSI, was not satisfactory in our case.

Everything a camper's heart desires is available
We found the site to be a real feel-good place - booking and registering was straightforward and we received a warm welcome. We were able to spend carefree days with our dogs on the separate side of the campsite, there is a walking path inside and many possibilities directly outside the campsite, service... stations (poop bags, waste) are available everywhere. The use of the thermal baths and the beautiful saunas are included and highly recommended. Followed by a delicious meal in the restaurant on site - what more could you want :-)

Quiet campsite in the countryside. Laid out in terraces. Sanitary facilities very clean and well maintained. Welness area great. Staff nice and helpful.
