Our grandchildren were able to roam freely around the grounds and ride their bikes carefree. The few cars on the road were very considerate of the children. In addition,... the paths are wide, well-laid-out, and in good condition.
The children’s activities were also wonderfully organized: the children were engaged in age-appropriate ways and lovingly cared for. Clean, tidy, not too noisy despite the school groups, the RV park dried out very quickly after the storm. Booking a table at the restaurant was sometimes a bit difficult. But the food there was OK. Great selection of bread rolls in the morning, and the staff in the shop... were super friendly. The sauna facilities are worth a visit. The grounds, featuring a Germanic camp, water skiing, mini-golf, etc., are very nice and offer plenty of variety. It was just a shame that, despite perfect swimming weather, the beach was closed and swimming wasn’t allowed even without supervision. The dog park is huge. It would have been possible to change our reservation. We were shown some options, looked them over, and picked one. We went back to the front desk to let them know, but were told we couldn't stay there because dogs aren't allowed.... Well, all that was for nothing. We ended up leaving that same day and got a refund of €20 for the dogs. That’s not what I call good service. We’d booked a rental bathroom as well, and I have to say it was super clean, close to our campsite—it was fantastic. It couldn’t have been better. We’ll be back.
