The stay was very nice, bread roll service worked well despite the end of the season. The sanitary blocks were open and well heated despite the small number of campsites. The staff were very friendly and informative. The staff in the bistro were also very nice, as I... said, despite few camping guests, there was lunch every day. I would have one small criticism regarding the bistro from my personal point of view, as we arrived and got something to drink in the bistro, it smelled very strongly of kitchen smells (fried food, frying fat...) in the bistro room. We decided to sit outside so that our clothes wouldn't smell. ( I am just a little sensitive :-) . We would give it five stars if the surface on the pitch was renewed. The supply/disposal is already new and is now very easy to access. Can recommend the place only the price of 15.-€ is a bit too

A very nice campsite everything clean, friendly staff, sanitary facilities always clean. The town is easy to reach on foot or by bike from the campsite. The beautiful Werratalsee is also right next door.
The sanitary facilities were clean and not overcrowded, which was probably due to the off-season.

It has a great beach area with a small playground, toilets and showers.
We were a bit skeptical at first because of the reviews of the sanitary facilities. Yes, it's not the latest design, but it's very well maintained, clean and fully functional.
The surrounding... area is also particularly beautiful with a nice little town and a really mega outdoor and indoor pool with a natural pool and sandy beach.

The price-performance ratio is not right. The sanitary facilities are outdated but clean. When the site is fully booked, they are likely to reach their capacity limits. Immer wieder wurden wir von Flora und Fauna überrascht vom Storch bis zum Wildschwein (Gehege) alles dabei. Viele Obstbäume laden zum naschen ein und wenn das Wetter passt kann auch geschwommen werden. Die Gastronomie in Eschwege war immer gut und günstig. Besonderer Tipp: Thailänder in der "alten Schule".
