Directly on the lake with very good bathing opportunities and shady spots on the beach or sunbathing lawn. It's over 600m to the lake, zigzagging between the white walls. A long way to the wash house. No seating on the campsite, electricity doesn't work, the WLAN (which I was assured on arrival would work on the whole site) doesn't work on the tent meadow.
On Saturday... night the tents were 50cm apart from each other
The train makes it really really terrible, instead of putting caravans next to the tracks that at least have a bit of protection-no! Every 1-2 hours a train passed me at night.
Cleanliness of showers below average.

As the pitches are spacious and there are lots of beautiful trees, it doesn't seem so huge.
The sanitary facilities are great and always, really always clean.
A big compliment to the cleaning team.
The... location of the site not far from Lindau / Old Town and Bregenz in the other direction is great. The beach is great.
Supply nearby, so restaurants and stores, bakers ... everything
there.
I will recommend Parkcamping Lindau to others and will certainly go there again myself.
