A beautiful, well-designed, and lovingly landscaped site that’s very well-maintained and clean. Spacious, level campsites. Comfortable, tasteful, and functional restroom facilities; a nice kitchen/dining area; everything is very clean. Friendly owner; helpful staff. Ideal location for sightseeing in Erfurt or Weimar. City bus stop right at the campground entrance (15 minutes to Erfurt Central Station; from there, another 15 minutes by tram to Domplatz or by train to Weimar Central Station).

All campsites are in full sun. The numerous and varied trees are still too young to provide shade.
A beautiful new place, close to downtown yet surrounded by greenery
We felt so at home here that we stayed for four nights instead of the two we had originally planned, and we also visited Weimar from Erfurt.

We spent the night at the campground and really enjoyed it. The sites are spacious and well-maintained. The restroom facilities are very clean and spacious. From there, it’s a quick and easy bike ride into downtown.

Everything's perfect
The campground is very attractively laid out, with large sites separated by flower beds; everything is in great shape and spotlessly clean. The same goes for the common areas—everything is well thought out. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The city of Erfurt is right nearby, and there’s a bus stop right in front of the campground. We’d love to come back!

Top Place to Stay
We were there for one night to attend an open-air event. The campground was fully booked. Despite the crowds, check-in was very friendly and professional. The site was completely level with PVC mesh; so it should stay stable even in the rain. The restrooms and showers were very good. There’s no convenience... store on site, but there’s a shopping center 700 meters away. The bread roll service works well. There’s a bus stop right at the campground, but it’s only for the trip there. Return trips in the evening starting at 8:00 p.m.??? There aren’t any trees or shrubs (yet). So there’s no shade. As a result, the campground feels a bit dreary. It’s sufficient for city tourism, though.

Idyllic. Not far from downtown. Shopping center within walking distance. Great bathroom facilities.

When we take a shower, the neighboring stall or the hallway gets wet, too.

We felt like we were standing in the middle of a garden. Flowers are blooming and plants are sprouting everywhere. The grounds are beautifully maintained.

Unfortunately, there's no shade when it's really hot. I just noticed that the website says there's a welcome beer and a 15% discount for stays of three days or more. We didn't get that.

Highly recommended.
I’ve rarely met such nice people as here (the owners and staff).
The bus stop right in front of the campground is, of course, great—you’re in town in just a few minutes.
And once again… super clean & super friendly…

A very nice little campground
just outside Erfurt.
The restroom facilities are modern and very clean.
The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well-maintained.
The staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests (we were a group of 14 people).

There isn't any for us. The lack of shade is due to the young age of the park; once the trees that have been planted grow larger, there will be shade there, too.
Top spot in a prime location
