Pure relaxation!
We had an absolutely wonderful 2½ weeks at the campground. Everything was so easygoing, and everyone was super nice. All the facilities and services were available and in top condition. It just doesn’t get any better than this. We were only in a bad mood for one day—because it was our last day and, sadly,... it was time to go home. If we had the money and time for it, we’d become permanent campers in Seeshaupt. We’d like to thank the whole team and all our fellow campers for this wonderful time. Keep up the great work! Warm regards from the Rhineland.

A very nice place in a dream location
We really enjoyed it, and the campground itself is in a fantastic location and very beautiful. The owners were also very nice! If I had to point out one criticism, it would be the showers. They weren’t always very clean, and the fact that you have to keep pressing the button and the very gentle water flow can be a bit annoying if you have long hair—or rather, it takes a very, very long time because you can’t get the lather out.

Great place in a fantastic location!
The staff is very friendly, the procedures are straightforward at this beautifully located campground, the restrooms are very clean, and the bread rolls are top-notch! A very nice beach with a dog-friendly section! A small snack bar with a wide variety of affordable options.

Relaxation
We had a great time overall, but it would be nice if dog owners and their pets would follow the rules and only use the area designated for them. And there’s really no need to let them lift their legs on every corner of the park.

A gem
The campground is in a great location and makes you want to stay. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The sites are spacious and separated by hedges. The restrooms are clean. The beach bar serves delicious food, and the staff there is also very friendly. We’re happy to recommend this campground.

Vielen Dank!!!

Vacation
The campground itself is very nice. However, it would be nice if the small store were open for more than just two hours a day.

Hallo zusammen

empfehlenswert
Ordentlicher Platz, Strom inklusive, Wasser, WLAN, sauberer Sanitärbereich, alles vorhanden. Die Stellplätze sind mit Hecken getrennt.

Beautiful View
The “We’d like to treat ourselves to a stay by the lake” spot was almost unbeatable in terms of the view—and in terms of price, too.
Unfortunately, it was quite noisy due to the adjacent parking lot and tennis court for such an upscale
price range.
That said… The couple who ran the place were always friendly and attentive. We really appreciated that.

Extremely satisfied
We spent 10 days at Lake Starnberg. We had a great spot with a view of Lake Starnberg. The sites are plenty big. We were there with our 8-meter-long trailer. We received a very warm welcome. The restroom facilities are kept very clean. Unfortunately, most showers lack small stools for setting things... down. But that’s the only drawback.
The small beach is very cozy, with a beer garden where you can also get light snacks. The staff there were also super friendly.
Our friends decided on the spur of the moment to come for 4 days, and a spot was arranged for them as well. Thanks again.

A very beautiful spot on Lake Starnberg
The campground is in a beautiful location. The sites are the perfect size, paved, and level. The woman at the front desk is extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone here is cheerful and smiling. She makes you feel welcome right away. The restrooms are always clean and have everything you need. Located right on the beach with a bar, it’s a wonderful place to relax.
Definitely worth recommending.

A Campground Worth Recommending
The overall rating is good to very good.
Site XXL 2 is great, with a direct view of the lake. The kiosk is also good; the selection and value for money met our expectations as well.

Regarding room for improvement:
It’s a shame that the cleaning of the restrooms isn’t consistent enough. They weren’t... cleaned on either Sunday. As a result, the toilet paper isn’t consistently checked or restocked.
In the laundry and dryer area, there is a bucket, a rag, and a dustpan and brush set missing—all needed to dispose of lint from the dryers and leave the room tidy.

But as noted above, the overall impression is good, and we highly recommend it!

Best regards,
P. Schmidt

A great campground
We stayed there for 3 days. Everything went smoothly. We received a friendly welcome and had a hassle-free check-out. The facilities were good and clean. Despite the size of the campground, the atmosphere is quite cozy. The location is great; the beach bar on the lakeshore is cozy, but it could offer a bit more “healthy food.”

Seenplatte is too expensive
Camping Trip in Seeshaupt in August
Our stay at the Seeshaupt campground was okay. The campground has direct access to the lake, and the campsites are okay, too. The restroom facilities are getting a bit worn and could use more frequent cleaning. There aren’t enough toilets. Also, there’s no water at the campsites. We had a site in the front row, right on the lake, but €80 is too much.
