For us personally, this campground is “the best” at this time of year. We have the Baltic Sea right outside our door, peace and quiet, and everything a camper’s heart desires. It... starts with the beautiful campsites, continues with the delicious rolls and pastries, the mini-market, and the restaurant with takeout service, and extends all the way to the very well-maintained restroom facilities. The dog run and walking areas are also important to us.

Even in the off-season, when we were there, there were no signs of the staff getting worn out. Dogs are also very welcome here! Except for a few guests with dogs whose owners simply won’t (or don’t want to) pick up after their dogs. We were there ourselves with a large dog, and behavior like this always gives us all a bad name! There are plenty of poop bags and trash stations available on the beach!Great location, very clean, and good serviceWe were there with our RV. I can really recommend this campground to any camper! It’s right on the Baltic Sea and is very clean—both the restroom facilities and the campground itself are constantly checked for trash and other issues! This time we were in the front row, which was especially nice. The site is well-suited for RVs because of the solid ground. What’s not quite as good is that the solid ground is higher than the adjacent... meadow. This makes it difficult to set up tents (especially inflatable ones) straight. But that’s just nitpicking. There was a water hookup, and there was also a small drain cover for wastewater. If the hoses are long enough 😉, you can connect everything directly, if you want to. As soon as you arrive, you’re greeted by a very friendly and helpful team. You feel right at home.
A few highlights that made our stay perfect:
Bathrooms: Absolutely great! Very clean, modern, and well-maintained....
Panoramic sauna: A real highlight for relaxing—the view is simply breathtaking!
Dining: The Marina restaurant stands out for its great hospitality and delicious food. And a definite plus for late-night cravings or a quick snack: the fantastic pizza vending machine—a great idea that tastes really good!
Location: A perfect starting point for excursions, as the campground is directly connected to the regional bike path network.
For us, the Klausdorfer Strand Campground is by far the most beautiful spot on the island. We had booked a mobile home, and we didn’t regret it.
The location was great—there were six mobile homes arranged in a circle, with a lighthouse in the middle.
Each unit had its own parking space for the car.
The interior of the mobile home was beautifully and... practically furnished—nothing was missing.
The entire campground is maintained with great care, and the restrooms are fantastic and very clean.
The front-row view of the Baltic Sea is simply amazing.
And for the dogs, there’s also a great, large dog run where they can run around.
This was our second stay at this campground, and it certainly won’t be our last.

Since we hadn’t been able to come for two years and were finally back, we immediately noticed the new washhouse, which turned out really beautifully. (It’s also very clean.) The staff and housekeeping crew were... all very friendly, as always. Manager Jörn was, as always, friendly and in a good mood. The little store was also great as always, and it’s still run by the same owners. 👍🙂 We’ll definitely be back. My family and I can’t recommend this campground highly enough. Access to the beach via the new stairs is now great, too.

The campsites are nice and spacious—it’s like having your own little garden.
It’s perfect for us, since we have two big dogs.
The restrooms are spotlessly clean, and there’s plenty of space in every stall—whether it’s a shower, washroom, or restroom....
It’s also very nice that the radio is always on.
For our dogs, the dog park is a real treat. Here they can run around and play with other dogs.
The beautiful beach also invites you to go swimming, take a walk,
and collect stones.
The restaurant and the little shop are perfect.
