We had a wonderful time at 50Plus Campingpark Fisching in Styria, in beautiful Austria.

It’s a campground run by the Pfandl family.
A very hospitable family who go out of their way for their guests. No matter what, they’re always there for you.

The campground also looks beautiful. There are lovely... flowers and plants everywhere.

Even in the restaurant area, where you can enjoy a delicious meal.
They also have a pop-up bar where they make delicious cocktails for you.

The swimming pond is also a wonderful place to spend time, whether you’re going for a swim or just relaxing in one of the hammocks or lounge chairs.

Now for the restroom facility. We’ve never stayed at a campground where the restroom facility was so beautiful and clean. GORGEOUS!!
The building opened in May of this year.

As cyclists, we also really appreciated that there are cycling route junctions. We went on some beautiful rides as a result.

So nothing but praise for the lovely owners and the campground!

The 50 Plus Camping Fisching is a highly recommended campground. The peaceful and pleasant atmosphere, the beautiful surroundings, and the friendly staff make for a particularly relaxing stay. Especially for campers aged 50 and older, the campground offers a great mix of tranquility, nature, and social... interaction. The grounds are well-maintained and inviting, and you quickly feel welcome. All in all, it’s a wonderful campground that I would gladly recommend anytime.

Pure relaxation
Since it’s 50+ with no kids or dogs, it’s very, very quiet; nice campsites in the front area and out back on a large meadow; little to no shade; great, spacious restroom facilities; the swimming pond is nicely landscaped;
The bread rolls weren’t anything special; we only ate at the restaurant once—it didn’t really appeal to us—and unfortunately, they only accept cash.

Just a small suggestion: as a camper, you want to be able to be spontaneous—which means that if I don't feel like cooking and want to go out to eat, I have to make a reservation in advance. Maybe that could be changed.
Just for Relaxation
The campground is in a great location for wonderful bike rides.
The campsites vary in size, so there’s something for everyone, and there are also shaded spots, which are perfect in the height of summer.
The restaurant is excellent!
The restroom facilities are brand-new and super clean.
What’s great is... that there are extra restrooms in the middle of the campground, as well as chemical toilet stations throughout the grounds.
There’s a bread delivery service and a beautiful swimming pond for relaxing. Unfortunately, the mobile bar wasn’t in operation during our stay, but I can easily imagine that it has its own charm.
This is a place where people greet each other, chat, and laugh together—we’ll definitely be back.

A green campground with beautiful sites. Plenty of options for everyone. The restrooms are fantastic, and since there are no children or pets, the campground is wonderfully quiet. The major road nearby is audible in the morning but isn’t bothersome the rest of the day. This is especially true in the new section of the campground.
The surrounding area is ideal for bike rides along the junction-based cycling routes.

A campground for ultimate relaxation. The restroom facility is unlike anything I’ve ever seen at a campground—it’s uniquely comfortable. And to top it all off, wonderfully pleasant music—including rare oldies—flows from the speakers. Even when temperatures hover around 35 degrees for days on end, the swimming pond remains pleasantly cool at around 25 degrees.

Top Campground
What a beautiful campground. Gorgeous restrooms, spacious sites with lovely views, a warm welcome, and a wonderful family that runs the campground. A fantastic restaurant where Mom is the chef and the rest of the family serves, and a lovely swimming pond where Dad makes delicious cocktails in the evening.... The garden was landscaped by Grandpa and Grandma. The whole family is always up for a chat, and you feel right at home there.
In short, a paradise in a stunning area. Great bike rides on routes with junction points. We had a wonderful time biking there, and there’s so much to see. A place we can recommend to everyone.

A Relaxing Camping Trip
After a friendly welcome, we were able to choose our own spot within our category following a tour of the campground. Then we quickly took care of the usual formalities at the front desk and were provided with informational materials about the surrounding area, possible activities, and more.
The campground... is clearly laid out, very clean, well-maintained, and tidy. Everything has its place, and you can tell it’s well cared for. The campsites are sufficiently large and level, so you don’t have to worry much about leveling your trailer.
The new restroom building is very nice and spacious.
The fact that dogs aren’t allowed is also a major plus!
The restaurant offers a varied and excellent menu—it’s clear that someone there still enjoys cooking.
The service is prompt, friendly, and hassle-free.
I highly recommend it for couples and solo travelers, and if the timing works out, I’d love to
stop by again sometime.

The peace and quiet, and the fact that there are no dogs. You can get to Knittelfeld in no time, to Spielberg at the Red Bull Ring, and also to beautiful places for hiking

The campground is beautifully situated in the small village of Fisching. The family is very friendly and helpful, and the food is traditional Styrian cuisine. There’s a mobile bar where the owner, Bernd, personally mixes the drinks—the Zirbiriha is especially good. The new restroom facility turned out beautifully.
