It's just a shame that you have to pay extra for a lot of things. It would be nice if the small cars could be checked to see if the battery is still good.
The Kettcars... are great for the children, but unfortunately we found the rental times a bit short.
At Mohrenhof in Franconia, you could hire them for the whole day or half a day.
It was also a shame that there wasn't much to do in the western town. Even though it was the last week of the vacation, it would be nice to offer the same as before. (Shows etc.)
It would also be great to point out the children's activities on arrival and tell more about them here.
Perhaps you could also install a meter so that you know when you have exceeded the free electricity capacity. 1€ per kWh is not exactly cheap.

The last 2-3 days, however, it was very noisy, there were "wood chips" being made almost all day, which is not so nice and quite annoying.
Maybe you could wait... until the end of the season so that the camping guests aren't bothered by it.
However, that was the only thing I found unpleasant.
The sanitary facilities were super clean, it was also pleasant that there was no "camping flair", there are self-contained toilets and showers, we used the free dishwasher all the time, very pleasant, the staff from reception to the cleaning staff are all super nice!!!!!

We received a very friendly welcome. A step we needed was made available to us on loan at short notice. The sanitary facilities are excellent and always well cleaned. The free dishwasher was also very convenient. There was plenty of... space in the drying room. The swimming lake was a dream and the indoor pool was useful for cooler days. The grandchildren also had a lot of fun with the Topiclub activities.
What disappointed us a little were the exorbitant prices, e.g. for mineral water and the deposit return. Bread roll price was ok.
All in all, a successful stay and we would love to come back.

The Zillertal really offers a lot of attractions.
Unfortunately, we only discovered this too late, after spending the whole time on the site.
You don't really have to go out. There is so much to experience... here. Unfortunately, the Zillertal has few cycle paths. A bit difficult or dangerous with children.
The pools in the indoor pool could be cleaned more often (hair etc.)
It's a bit of a shame that the road runs right next to the campsite, you can hear the cars all the time. But that also depends on the pitch. Besides, there's no other way in a valley. What is a bit impractical is that all the sanitary facilities are completely closed from 11am to 1pm. It was a bit difficult to find a toilet during this time, which was not exactly occupied. This should be organized differently. It would also be nice to know in advance that there are private riding lessons. Unfortunately, we didn't get a place during the week because everything was fully booked.
The riding instructor is unfortunately not the friendliest.

- Heike B.september 2025Simply a great campsiteThe campsite was recommended to us by many friends and we were thrilled from the very first minute. It all started at reception. Very welcoming and very helpful staff. The site is very well maintained and the wash houses are super clean.
The many attractions on the site are great and don't just make... children's hearts beat faster. Starting with the indoor pool, tennis courts, table tennis, trampoline, playgrounds, the beautiful swimming pond, the ingenious climbing hall and much more. The highlight was the children's festival with pony rides, a magician, tractor rides and face painting in the western town.

But recently the prices for the pitches have become horrendous, especially in the main season, unfortunately we can't drive any other way for work. The pitches have been the same for years and unfortunately still don't have proper drainage,... so that you are constantly standing in water when it rains. Something urgently needs to be done. You can see that it works on other courses too. It's nice that the buildings have been renovated or completely renewed for years, but as a camper I get little out of it, apart from rising costs. The site and the roads also need fixing up.
We always feel quite comfortable here. The staff are generally all very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are always very clean as long as everyone leaves their pitch clean, which unfortunately is not always the case. But that's not the fault of the cleaning staff, who have to clean up the mess.
We would love to come back and hope that the pitch will be renovated at some point. The campsite is highly recommended, there is everything your heart desires. There is something for all ages.
