The place was very quiet, even the trains running on the opposite side could hardly be heard.
The old town and the Deutsches Eck are a good 20-minute walk away. Unfortunately the ferry wasn't running yet but the cab service to the old town for €7.50 worked great.

Beautifully situated opposite the Deutsches Eck. Good central location. You can either take the small ferry boat to the Deutsches Eck (subject to availability) or walk to the old town in about 30 minutes. There is also the option of taking a cab for €7.50 (see info sheet). The pitch was big enough for us and easy to drive on. - Ralf L.novembris 2024Our short vacation at Campingpark KnausThe park as such: great, the location: great, the central proximity to Koblenz city center is also very easy to reach on foot via the Balduin Bridge. The location and the view of the Ehrenbreitstein fortress and the German corner are very impressive. All in all very satisfied and great, the only drawback... on our part, but that is very much our own opinion: due to the central proximity to the Rhine and the Moselle, especially with regard to the opposite bank of the Rhine, we felt that the noise was already close to the limit, on the other side of the Rhine the long-distance freight trains and trains in general thunder, which was a bit difficult, especially with regard to the night's sleep (for people like me who have a relatively light sleep....). The Rhine and Moselle shipping also contribute to the increased noise level. But the park operator can't do anything about that, you can't always have everything and make a few small compromises here and there, but the location of the park, the nearby surroundings etc. are excellent and there's nothing to complain about.Automātiski tulkots.
