But it was no problem, if we arrived late the documents were put in a box and the access code was sent by message. The license plate number was already saved so that the barrier would open if we were late. The online bread delivery service also worked well. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and service. We had a nice big pitch with water nearby and electricity. The grass should have been mowed, but otherwise fine.
It was a very sunny and warm weekend as predicted. The pitch filled up on Friday and by the afternoon it felt like it was 100% full.... And this was noticeable at the sanitary facilities.
2 sanitary blocks with 2 and 3 men's toilets (only 5 in total !!!) are simply not enough. This was the first campsite where I had to queue for the toilet early in the morning. That is very unpleasant. It eased up again during the course of the day, but the negative impression remained.

You are welcomed in a friendly and friendly manner and everything is explained to you. Very clean and new sanitary facilities with chip entrance. Direct access to the Kollersee with a sandy meadow beach. Several pubs can be reached by bike in a short time. Speyer and Schwetzingen can be reached by bike in 35 minutes via the Koller ferry.
We are already looking forward to our next visit.

We particularly liked the quiet location, the well-maintained pitch and the good facilities (water/waste water,... electricity connection).

The staff at the registration desk were always super friendly and helpful.
The only drawback was the Nile geese, which are really everywhere on the water and their droppings are very unpleasant. It would be a shame if the lake was closed in future... because of bacteria.
The lake is clear and clean and we had very nice, relaxing days there.

Although it was recently banned from swimming because... of feces, I don't understand why there are still so many geese at the bathing lake.

Again and again!The two of us went on a summer vacation with the camper van. The lake, relaxation, some sport, cycling, swimming and SUP were the main focus in good weather. Canoe and SUP rental are on site, the water sports area is very nice! We had every service and everything we needed. The site was well laid out... and quiet, there were bread rolls, washing facilities and 2 wash houses with short waiting times! There was also a small fruit market, an antipasti Greek and the pizzeria on the pitch was also great. Beer and wine etc. at reception. The lake and the water were excellent. Bicycle tours to Speyer or Heidelberg easy and worth seeing. The nature reserve, good leisure facilities and also emergency contact points (dentist and ophthalmologist) were easy to reach at short notice, even on weekends. There are very good restaurants in the next village. The groundsman took care of our pitch after a routine check, without us having to make any demands - simply very attentive, the whole team!
In midsummer temperatures, you don't need to go south for this!
