Karoline U.novembris 2025Great campsite, we'll be back!The campsite is very well maintained, manageable and well equipped. The sanitary facilities are also very clean, there is a children's bathroom and there is even underfloor heating in the showers. The lady at reception seemed very annoyed and listless, but everyone else was super friendly. We were taken... directly to the pitch and all the lockers were available. We were there in the fall vacations and had a great time despite the heavy storm and rain. You can easily get to the center of Büsum for free with the Touribahn or by bike and even walking the 2km is no problem. The family lagoon is located directly behind the dyke and invites you to go for a walk or a mudflat hike. Great playground and place to fly a kite. The restaurant "zur verrückten Krabbe" was delicious and the staff very friendly.

All in all, a well thought-out site close to the village.
However, I don't understand why you are only allowed to hand in the barrier key immediately before the exit.... You have to drive up to the information desk, turn off the engine and then check out - no idea why. This sometimes leads to traffic jams before the exit. This should perhaps be reconsidered.

The restaurant is a bit more expensive but the price/performance ratio is definitely right. Short distance to the sea and nice walk over the dyke into town. Close to the lake. Nice campsite with very clean sanitary facilities, disposal facilities. Everything you need is there. Even a bakery with delicious bread rolls on site. You can buy food in the town. Restaurant and fish sandwich stand adjacent to the campsite.

The site is very well maintained, the sanitary facilities are exceptionally clean and the staff at the registration desk are always very friendly and helpful.
We mustn't forget the nice gentlemen on their electric caddies, who... accompany you to the pitch on arrival and can give you useful tips and take care of the maintenance of the pitch.
For us, it was the ideal place to spend a relaxing vacation. There are many excursion possibilities in the surrounding area and, last but not least, Büsum itself, which can be reached quickly on foot or by bike and offers a whole host of good restaurants in addition to its nice, manageable pedestrian zone.
