Brilliant campsite that offers everything from glamping to nature camping. The agility course is only accessible by prior arrangement.
The sanitary facilities are very modern and super clean.

- Melanie P.septembris 2025Beautiful campsiteVery nice clean campsite. At 10pm it was quiet, rarely experienced such a good night's sleep, although there were many dogs and children on the site. We cycled to Oldenburg (approx. 23km) - very good cycle connections. The only small point of criticism was that we made a coffee on the way home - unfortunately... we couldn't because the electricity was switched off immediately when we paid - we didn't know that. There is no night-time peace and the barrier at the entrance can be... removed. Among other things, we had to defend the space next to us for our neighbors against unruly pensioners who only wanted to park for an hour for their birthday. I have already left a review of the Seehuus itself. We won't be visiting the site again and won't be able to recommend it to others. As a former long-term camper, I really appreciate the friendliness and helpfulness of the Falkensteinsee team. The well-kept campsite makes you want more. As dog sportsmen, we are often on site for tournaments and like to stay a few days longer. The restaurant... is a real treat for the palate.
We are happy to recommend the campsite to others and are always pleased when there are new features, such as the barbecue hut or the circus tent.

The sanitary facilities are modern and clean and the whole site is very well maintained. The only thing that bothered us were the many dogs on the site that barked loudly and constantly from 6/6:30 in the morning. Some guests and permanent campers let their dogs defecate on occupied... pitches. Even if the excrement is removed, it is still not nice to sit in front of the motorhome and watch the dog defecate.... watching the dog defecate. A beautiful lake invites you to swim at several beaches. The campsite itself is very well maintained, clean and functional. The site is highly recommended for families with children, with a playground and other activities available.... The staff are friendly and helpful. A small disturbing factor for people who don't know it is the air traffic, as there is a sports airfield nearby and further away, presumably, the airfield in Bremen. Everything was fine, the 5-star rating was prevented by hundreds of dogs that had arrived with their, sometimes very over-motivated, masters and mistresses for a competition. This is our second time at the Falkensteinsee campsite - and certainly not our last! We felt completely at home right from the start. The children can just be children here: play, discover, laugh - and are very welcome everywhere.
We particularly liked the... bread roll service in the morning, the idyllic lake for swimming and SUP, as well as the modern sanitary facilities, which can also be rented - everything is very well maintained and well thought out.
The surrounding area invites you to go on great bike tours, e.g. via Komoot - and even the nearest shop is easily accessible by bike (approx. 6 km).
A highlight was the conversation with the friendly site manager, who gave us exciting insights into the history of the site.
