Beautiful place
The reception was friendly and courteous, we had a nice place, very close to the sanitary facilities. We can't say anything about the beer garden, we didn't use it. The sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day. We liked it

Stay for the Christmas market
Hello,
The stay at the campsite was ok. The team at the reception was nice. Unfortunately the weather was not so good, so it was very muddy. Of course the campsite can't help the weather, but in some places gravel or something similar should be added.
The light in the chemical toilet disposal was also defective and it really stank in the men's shower.

Unfortunately, it's getting worse and worse!
Unfortunately it gets worse from year to year. Unfriendly or incompetent staff, annually changing management, at -10 degrees the windows in the washrooms are open so that it is a... cold and and and... If it wasn't for the proximity to the trade fair, we wouldn't go back.

Overpriced and uncomfortable
Leaves on all the pitches, you can't see where you're going. All the windows and doors of the sanitary building are open all day and that in November! The radiators are fully turned up and heat the environment, but it doesn't matter, the customer pays! And not a little! 53 euros per night - for what? The cleaning staff usually stand in the open doors and smoke.

Sufficient
The pitch we had been allocated and booked relatively far in advance was unfortunately at the back of the campsite, the access road to it was over dirty gravel, we would have liked to have had a pitch, especially in the wet season, on a paved or asphalted/paved path. Furthermore, the urinals smelled... strongly of urine, there was no soap in the dispenser at the hand wash basin and the ceiling of the shower room was very moldy, not very attractive. We thought the price for the overnight stay was too high for what we found.

Good location to the trade fair and city

There is obviously a staffing problem, the operating staff changes every year. We were there for a trade fair in November 2025 and it was very cold (minus 5 degrees at night). The outside water points were not turned off and it came as it had to come - when the temperatures came back into the plus range, the result showed, some pipes burst due to the frost and there was a fountain. The skylights in the wash house were open 24 hours a day, no problem - the practically glowing radiators fought bravely against the -5 degree outside temperature. They probably have no control over heating costs or get cheap Russian gas. Too bad there is a central administration for these pitches at Knaus-Tabbert, but they don't seem to care.
Unfriendly employees and enormous waste of energy
The location is great - otherwise you could solve the mold problem in the wash house with little investment. The management is incompetent and unfriendly.

Great place, we will be back.
A super nice place under the trees. We were there in the fall, when a few acorns fall from the trees. Not a problem for us personally.
The staff were always friendly.
The sanitary facilities are not ultra-modern. But everything you need is there. And it's always clean.
We can't judge the bistro on... site as we didn't visit it.
There is one star deduction:
1. for the access to public transport, which is quite far away (over a kilometer to the subway or bus stop in each case). After a long day in the city this is a bit annoying in the evening.
2 Expensive bread rolls. Almost 10 euros for 6 rolls seems a bit much to me personally.
3. price generally a bit high for the campsite. Over 50 euros per night for a motorhome and 2 people, although the proximity to the city probably justifies this... supply and demand apply here.

Very friendly reception. The site is very quiet, we were passing through from Sunday to Wednesday.
The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but everything is always very clean. That's what counts in the end!
Ideal for dog owners, as soon as you leave the site, your dog can run free.
A restaurant that offers delicious dishes, and the operators are also very friendly. We would come again!

After the initial shock of acorns hitting the roof from the trees, I re-parked and then everything was OK. Luckily it wasn't raining, otherwise the Schöamm would have been the next problem

Vacation in the middle of the city, very quiet

Space for 4 people in the mobile home is of course not that big
Beautiful campsite in the middle of the city
We liked it very much, the place is nice and quiet and yet close to the city. Short distances on the site and you can park well in front of your mobile home.

In October under trees, lots of leaves and acorns
Very well located campsite for visitors to Nuremberg
We were able to move from pitch 67 to pitch 23.
On pitch 67 the acorns fall down in October, which is annoying with banging in the camper van.
The change to pitch 23 was no problem and we really liked it there.
We especially liked the proximity to the subway (approx. 1200n) - as this means you can be... in the center of Nuremberg in just 20 minutes.
The staff are very friendly and the sanitary facilities are clean and spacious.
We can really recommend this place.

Very good
Quiet, clean, friendly staff, good service, good connection to Nuremberg center (train). In the city many possibilities for leisure time. Close to the exhibition center and the stadium/ice rink.

Quiet place, close to the city

Ideal for city tours.
We stayed here for 4 days, a very nice site with old trees, which was a bit annoying though, as acorns were constantly falling on cars and caravans in October, but the campsite operator can't help that.
The sanitary facilities were always clean and well maintained, even though the site was quite full....
The staff are very friendly and helpful!
The food in the bistro is very good and well worth the price.
What we noticed was that many of the grass pitches were muddy from the rain, there is an urgent need for action here, but this is probably more down to the pitch owner, the city of Nuremberg, than the tenant! Fortunately, our pitch under the trees was paved with grass pavers.
The underground station is a 20-25 minute walk away. An ideal place for a city tour. We would love to come back!
