As there was only 1 other barrel occupied, we had plenty of space and peace and quiet (the barrels are very close to each other).
The campsite was well maintained and clean. Few fridge compartments available to rent (1€/day)... as well as freezer.
The incredible sunsets were fantastic!
It was quiet at night, liked the playground. Train station within 2 min walking distance, every half hour and free with the guest card.
We liked it very much! Thanks to the Bodenseecard West and the nearby Hegau public transport stop, there are many opportunities to visit the surrounding area quickly.
With quick, friendly information, 2 days began in the clean facilities of the campsite with an overnight stay in a barrel. What we really liked was that the site isn't huge, but the pitches are big enough and we had a really great shady pitch thanks to the trees.
We also... really liked the food, whether it was breakfast, cakes or hot dishes: very tasty!
You can tell that a very motivated team works here, and the sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day.
But it wasn't just the campsite, we also really liked the location. Right on the lake, a dream for every SUP rider! And the regional train stops every few minutes about 200 m away, which we often used for excursions to Constance, Überlingen etc.

The pitches are very small and crammed to the last inch. Driving in and out is very difficult when everything is parked up with camper vans.
The staff at reception are VERY unfriendly.
For us a reason not to go there anymore.
The parking spaces outside are unfortunately always full.

However, the access road is very narrow, only one lane with lots of cars parked on the left and right.... It is very narrow for large camper vans and the pitches themselves are small. It would be nice if the access situation could be improved.

The sanitary facilities are really impressive and the food is delicious.NegatívumokThe mosquito nets in our sleeping barrel, which are essential for survival, were defective and could be improved. Sunshades by the sleeping barrels would also be great. The only criticism of the wash/shower rooms...I think 1 or 2 hairdryers would be appropriate and I missed storage space (next to the washbasins). also.Sleeping barrelEverything has already been written under advantages and disadvantages.
The rail connection is ideal.

The bathrooms and toilets are good and were cleaned regularly by the cleaning fairies.
