Electricity is relatively expensive and must be purchased using tokens from a vending machine. The restroom facilities are a major drawback. Having only two showers for a campground with 100 sites is completely unacceptable. We were given very little information at check-in. A more detailed orientation—for... example, regarding the facilities, quiet hours, and routines on the campground—would be helpful.
We also found the morning work, such as mowing the lawn and blowing leaves, to be disruptive. In our opinion, these tasks could be carried out at a later time, once most guests are already up, have finished breakfast, and have left their tents.
There is also room for improvement regarding the cleanliness of the restrooms. Additionally, the soap dispensers were often empty or, in some cases, missing entirely. The lighting also did not seem to be optimally adjusted: the lanterns were already turned off in the evening but remained on throughout the night.
Overall, in our view, the campground lacks a bit of attention to detail and a consistent focus on peace, relaxation, and slowing down. While guests appreciate the campground’s statements and mottos on these topics, they aren’t always reflected in the day-to-day camping experience.
