If you don't like this campsite, you should stay at home.A campsite with heart and soul.This campsite is a feel-good place for us. The operator Herbert and his representative Charlie are great! The price-performance ratio is absolutely right. There are always fresh pastries and a little chat with the staff on the side. Please keep up the good work, because we would love to come back to you in 2026. The site was beautifully laid out and in an absolutely quiet location. Well-maintained sanitary facilities. There is even a separate dog shower and washing machines with drying room.
Pitches with electricity, water and waste water connections. There... is also a swimming pool, which we were unfortunately unable to use due to the temperature.
The restaurant on site has excellent food at a very reasonable price. The landlord is a funny guy who also knows how to have fun.
Worth seeing is the largest fire engine in the world, about 300m away, where the fireman on the ladder sprays across the square every day at 11:45.
Just opposite is a nice wine tavern with good food and wine. The site is particularly suitable for excursions and hikes and is also a cyclist's paradise.
Unfortunately, the weather didn't really play along with us on 2 days. The early onset of frost in this area was unusual for this time of year.

Very good water pressure! Spacious pitches, all with waste water and fresh water connections, great pool. Inn available, daily menu, one day of rest, nice host. The local baker comes in the morning with fresh pastries! All in all very cozy! Top price/performance !!!NegatiivisetnoneCozy, well-kept campsite near Bad GleichenbergWe were traveling with a caravan in September 2025 and booked online a few days in advance to be on the safe side. The campsite has many permanent campers, so pitches for transients could quickly become scarce, even in the fall season. Keyword "grape harvest, Oktoberfest etc." Reservations work very... well, information material follows immediately.
The area is great for cyclists, and there are plenty of culinary options in Bairisch Kölldorf and the surrounding area. The Therme Gleichenberg can be reached by bike on the cycle path in about 15 minutes. The whole site is very well maintained, the sanitary facilities are always very nice and clean. Herbert, the always friendly campsite manager, has an open ear for everyone, is always in a good mood and helps anyone who has a problem. The pool within the... campsite is very clean and great for cooling off in the summer. There is a snack bar on site where you can eat very well. You also have the option of getting fresh pastries or something sweet on site every day. The surrounding area offers many opportunities to hike, cycle, visit the thermal baths, visit a wine tavern, or just switch off and relax. The swimming pool in the campsite... as a salt water pool contributes to relaxation. VERY QUIET campsite, no road noise, no aircraft noise. WLAN works very well. WEDNESDAY BREAK NO entry possible. Bicycle tours possible from the site. Table tennis table available. All in all:
