A small suggestion for improvement: It would be nice if dog owners and guests who are simply looking for peace and quiet could be accommodated in slightly separate areas to make the stay even more pleasant for both groups. Possibly better signage for the site—it’s only visible from one side of the “street.” Long access road (you start to think you’re going the wrong way). More recycling stations; the path to the front of the site may be a long way.
A relaxing stay—👍 great
The Genuss-Ferien Strandcamping campground is situated in a truly idyllic location on Lake Jabel. The campground is the perfect base for exploring the waters of the Mecklenburg Lake District. The campground nestles along the shore of Lake Jabel. In addition to a restaurant, it features a long stretch... of meadow with sites for trailers and RVs, set amid a quiet pine forest. A sandy beach provides access to the water. The campground’s own water sports rental service—including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and motorboats—enables excursions on the region’s lakes and canals.
There are charming biking and hiking trails all around the village of Jabel. A bike ride to Malchow and Waren an der Müritz is also well worth it.
Arrive, relax, and enjoy—that’s what you can do at this campground.

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at Lake Jabel! The campground’s location is simply fantastic—right on the lake and surrounded by nature, ideal for relaxing and recharging. We’d especially like to highlight the cleanliness throughout the entire grounds and the friendliness of the staff.

The campground is a comfortable size. A magnificent location in the most beautiful natural setting. A variety of campsites—right on the water, in the woods, in the sun—there’s something for everyone. If you don’t relax here, you only have yourself to blame.
A very nice outdoor restaurant with a kiosk (bread rolls and items for daily needs), a beautiful view of the lake, lounge chairs, food and drinks, and great ice cream sundaes.
Extremely friendly staff, quick and hassle-free check-in, several great heated, privacy-screened outdoor showers (perfect in this heat). The campground and restrooms are always spotless 👍 There’s also a nice dog-washing area, making it especially suitable for dogs and their owners.

Great campground
A great campground right on the water, clean and well-maintained. The restaurant/bar on-site comes highly recommended—delicious, freshly prepared food and a full selection of beverages. A bread delivery service with a good selection is available.
There’s also a small shop on-site for daily necessities....
Very clean restroom facilities.
Highly recommended for dog owners—plenty of walking trails and a dog swimming area.
Many water sports available right from the campground.
Very relaxing and peaceful place.
Very nice, polite, and accommodating staff. Thank you so much—we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

Idyllic campsite with room for improvement
The campsite is a pleasant, manageable size. The location right by the lake in the forest is very idyllic. Booking and payment were also easy.

The reception by the manager was extremely unfriendly. There was an inappropriate response to a normal question from me, very unprofessional. I was told with... a wave of the hand that I could leave if I didn't like it. We stayed because of my family, but we felt uncomfortable the whole time as we were then completely ignored by the boss and the staff. I was glad when we left and won't be coming back. Unfortunately, you often read about similar experiences here and there were constant power cuts without explanation. As a result, we couldn't bake our own bread rolls and were forced to buy the delicious but extremely expensive rolls on site (4 rolls for almost €10). The sanitary facilities smelled unpleasant and there were no shelves for washing utensils. The advertised "restaurant" turned out to be a self-service snack bar. However, the snack bar is originally furnished and serves delicious cocktails.

Wonderfully quiet location in beautiful natural surroundings. Directly on the water, beach and dog beach. Absolute friendliness, very family-friendly. Very nice outdoor restaurant with a wonderful view and good menu, great ice cream sundaes and cocktails. Boat rental, outdoor showers and showers without time limit round off the great things. Uncomplicated registration, no bureaucracy on departure departure - you can just drive away, all-inclusive price including electricity

There are no serious disadvantages, only notes that the access road is a forest road, sometimes a bit narrow. But no problem with motorhome or caravan. With laid out dodge bays. Bread rolls overpriced and old. Maybe think about a midday rest, and that more consideration for each other. Also the kids should not drive down the hill at the restaurant, when cars can also drive on the road there.
Beautifully located, quiet and uncomplicated
We go there for a family vacation with caravan, motorhome and rental caravan, register on the day of arrival and leave the place clean at the end. Electricity is included in the price, but limited to a maximum of 1000W.
Friendly staff, very nice location on Lake Jabel, very quiet and also extremely family... & dog friendly, nice bistro for a drink with a view over the lake or regional cuisine plus pizzas, relaxed and unpretentious. The sanitary facilities are clean. Unfortunately, when the weekend campers come, it can be a little dirtier (sandy floor). We found the leisure facilities with SUP, boat hire, bike hire, etc. sufficient. Due to the remote location, you have to take a 20-minute drive in both directions (Waren or Malchow) for your errands. There is also a small store for the most necessary things at the reception. There are no closing times (midday rest) but only the usual night-time rest.

This site was the perfect choice for our first vacation with a motorhome. Quietly located, in the middle of nature, right on the lake and with a thoroughly perfect, clean infrastructure, including a small store and restaurant, we are still thrilled. It doesn't get any better than this.

We received a very warm welcome, for the third time. Our seat was already reserved so that we could even check in one evening earlier. Full marks for that 👍 Top restaurant, top showers and WC. That's how we know it.

Unfortunately, we have to make a small criticism this time. As you can read on the signs, fishing and barbecuing are prohibited on the entire jetty. The latter is forbidden for fire safety reasons. At least that's what we thought. But as soon as the harbour masters left, there was a huge tower of mostly younger anglers casting their hooks and bait late into the night, shining their flashlights and, despite efforts to be quiet, making a lot of noise. Especially as the rear jetty is already very loud when you walk on it. What a pity. It's incomprehensible to me that barbecuing with charcoal is still allowed despite the ban. If we are allowed to, we would still like to come back.

the smell in the wash houses/toilets, especially in the large one with the only three indoor showers (women) 1000watt electricity, and then for about 1.5 hours power failure (no information to campers that the problem is being dealt with and how long it could take) Bread roll prices (12 rolls for 20€) and baking them yourself with the power bad.
Beautifully situated with drawbacks
It was our first time at this campsite, not the worst but not the best we've been to. It's small, beautifully situated and more for good weather and campers who like it simple.
The wash houses and toilets are reduced to the bare essentials, but are new and clean, the only thing that bothers us is the... unpleasant smell.
The restaurant, which we would describe more as a snack bar/kiosk, only offers outdoor seating with delicious food and drinks with self-service.
The paths on the site are short and the pitches are well spaced and large enough. The surrounding nature invites you to relax and hike. There is a wonderful view from the jetty and water sports facilities are also available.
Unfortunately, we overlooked the limited electricity (4€/day 1000Watt) ... you should be prepared for this. We also had the misfortune that the electricity did not work at times without information from the operator, too bad!
Conclusion: nice place with room for improvement!

We spent another weekend at the Jabel nature campsite and simply feel very much at home there. The site has a wonderful, natural atmosphere and doesn't seem at all sterile or strictly parceled out, but more like a small park in the middle of nature.

The location with the forest, lakes and Müritz lake... district all around is perfect for us - especially because we like to go fishing and the site is basically very well suited for this with its jetty and slipway.

The atmosphere on the campsite is also pleasant every time: informal, relaxed and welcoming. You can tell that the campsite is run with a lot of love. We always enjoy coming here and can highly recommend the campsite.

Campsite with potential
The campsite is beautifully situated on Lake Jabel. The access road is very long, so you might get the idea that you've lost your way. There are very few passing places on the very narrow road. So drive well ahead, otherwise there may be problems, as two vehicles cannot pass each other. From the parking... lot in front of the barrier you have to look for the reception, which was built about 100m away on the right side of the campsite. Here you will also find the mini store and the restaurant, which unfortunately only has outdoor seating. You can order bread rolls for 70 cents each the evening before - no bread rolls without an order. Our pitch was in the south at the other end of the campsite where I had chosen a pitch. Booking a specific pitch costs €5 extra. Pitches are large, sufficient and easy to navigate. You have to find out for yourself whether the number of sockets and the only water tap there are sufficient when the pitch is full. The sanitary buildings that are not directly at the reception only have outdoor showers. The number of showers and toilets could lead to waiting times when the campsite is full. Showers and toilets were modern, perfectly clean and well maintained. Attention: Disposal of black water only without chemicals - no alternative. My conclusion: Clean and well-kept campsite with potential and room for improvement.

My girlfriend and I haven't visited too many campsites yet, but this one was the most uncomplicated for me so far. In principle, everything is very simple: just register on the day of arrival and leave the site clean at the end. Electricity is included in the price, but limited to a maximum of 1000W.... We had a kettle in use, but were able to compensate for the increased power consumption by using a power station. Very nice location on Lake Jabel, very quiet and also extremely family & dog friendly. The sanitary facilities are clean and are cleaned daily. Unfortunately, when the weekend campers come, it can be a little dirtier (sandy ground). I found the leisure facilities with SUP, boat hire, bike hire, etc. sufficient. Due to the remote location, you have to take a 20-minute drive in both directions (Waren or Malchow) for your errands. There is also a small store for the most necessary things at the reception. Beautiful, quiet campsite in the middle of nature!

We always have a great stay at the campsite with the dwarves. The location right on the lake is fantastic - ideal for swimming, paddling or simply relaxing by the water. The pitches are well-kept and offer plenty of space, and many of them... even have a fantastic view of the lake.

The staff are always super friendly and helpful - you immediately feel welcome. We particularly like the family atmosphere and the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, which are always in top condition.

A real insider tip for anyone who appreciates nature, peace and quiet and a warm welcome. We'll definitely be back (we've already booked)! 🌲⛺️💧 See you soon, Peter & Andrea
