However, it would be nicer if the RV sites were a little larger. There wasn’t much going on during our stay. That’s why we wondered why the following RVs were assigned spots right next to each other. It was our first time at the Harlesiel Campground, and we felt completely at home from the very first minute. 😊
Even upon arrival, everything was hassle-free and friendly. The campground is beautifully situated, well-maintained, and offers just the right... mix of peace, nature, and relaxation. We especially loved how close it was to the North Sea—just head out, take a walk on the beach, and enjoy the fresh North Sea air. 🌊🌾
We also really liked the overall atmosphere at the campground. Everything seems neat and well-organized, yet at the same time pleasantly relaxed and personal. This is exactly how we imagine a wonderful camping vacation.
We were traveling with our RV and our dog and truly felt completely welcome. 🐕❤️
For us, everything here was just perfect—from the location to the campground itself to the atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and headed home feeling certain: We’d love to come back here!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restroom facilities and laundry areas are very spacious.
For the future, we’d like it if we didn’t have to go to the tourist office in Carolinensiel to get an... electronic guest card.
At the campground, the card could also be used for the washing machine or for the chemical toilet vending machine. And then you’d settle the bill at the end.
The vending machine, which was supposed to contain food, was empty except for a few yogurts and a package of sausages. We wondered if the expiration dates on these food items are being monitored.

A small kiosk, a washer and dryer, clean restrooms and a washroom. The showers are clean, too, but they should be checked for problems and repaired more often. The food selection was a bit lacking, especially considering how early they closed. I was really looking forward to the heated pool, but it wasn’t heated at all—it was freezing cold. Unfortunately, there was no notice about this on the door. Furthermore, I couldn’t... find a bin for disposing of chemical toilet waste—only the paid cleaning station, which, by the way, was free in Eutin. The campground itself is beautiful and has a great location.
