Skrolan B.říjen 2025Reservation was disregardedI reserved two pitches next to each other and drove to the pitches with a groundsman. After setting up, we went for a short walk with the dogs. In the meantime, a motorhome driver parked on the second pitch (although we had been promised this one). When we pointed out that the motorhome driver who had... just arrived could drive a few meters forward to another plot, the driver refused (on principle). Two groundskeepers did not manage to convince the motorhome driver. They ignored our suggestion that they could make use of their domestic authority. So the camper van stood between us, we couldn't put up a dog fence between us (although we had agreed to do so). It was very annoying. It was even suggested to me that I could move my awning and furnishings (I wonder where the effort was justified. It wasn't our fault and the motorhome driver was stubborn). The run for dogs and the direct dog beach were very nice. You didn't have to go anywhere else to get to the beach with your dog.
However, we were not so happy with the container showers. We have rarely been able to use such clean facilities in our years with the camper van!
The staff are super friendly and relaxed, which is transferred to the guests, i.e. us.
A very small downer, the kiosk. Unfortunately closed during our stay (8 days) due to illness.

Buďte první! - Karin F.září 2025Beach vacation on the Wadden SeaOn the whole, we were satisfied! The location of the site directly on the North Sea is great, we enjoyed the beach chair and beach bar. The sanitary containers were always clean, paper towels, soap etc. were always available. We showered in the large sanitary building as the container showers are relatively... cramped.
Now for the downside: we were only allowed to stand in the designated dog area with our dog. This area was definitely too loud for us! Uncontrolled dog barking, because a few dog owners apparently believe that they have booked a "free pass" in the dog area.
We also felt restricted by the paths to the beach being closed to dogs.

Small well-stocked kiosk on the site, with fresh bread rolls on offer in the morning. North Sea within easy reach. The price for a week 7 days is more than fair and absolutely top.
