"Overnight stay in Vassbacken - The location of the campsite and the pitches are very good. The reservation system works. The sanitary facilities and the kitchen, on the other hand, are unkempt and dirty. The disposal station for the chemical toilet is disgusting! After I complained, the sanitary buildings were obviously sprayed with a water hose and were wet for hours afterwards. These are the worst conditions of our entire Scandinavian tour - a shame for an otherwise beautiful place!!!

"Nice location nice sanitary - We actually wanted to stay 9 days on our round trip to Sweden but broke off after 6 days. The campsite makes a well-kept impression and is very quiet, but the sanitary facilities were already dirty when we arrived. After three days we complained because the guests' hair was piling up and we wanted to take a shower. As a result, two days later the toilets and kitchen were wiped once and that was it. We were refused a refund for the nights we had already paid for. The place is recommended for a short stop and you should also visit the café, but not for a longer stay.

"Beautiful place on the Göte Canal - This was our second time here for a few days and we were very satisfied. Great location and wonderful cycling along the Göta Canal. High repeat factor.

"Great little place on the Göta Canal - A lovely little site directly on the Göta Canal under German management! Various pitches directly alongside the canal, all with electricity. Access to the sanitary building with code card. V/E completely available, a small kiosk with restaurant/café as well as a bread roll service (home-made and the best during our whole trip to Sweden!) and a rental service for bicycles, pedal boats, canoes etc.! The sanitary building is well maintained, but the cabins are small and have no further storage facilities. The sinks are outside, as is the disposal for the chemical toilet.

"Wonderful location, but the sanitary has more to be desired - Beautifully located right on the Göta Canal. The sanitary facilities leave much to be desired. Poorly cleaned and in some in dire need of renovation.

"Meadow pitches on the Göta Canal - Here you can stand directly on the Göta Canal on meadow pitches and watch the boats and ships. As someone who is self-sufficient in electricity, I found it a bit annoying that you have to pay for electricity here(!), even if you don't need it. We also used the site as a starting point for hikes in the Tiveden National Park.
