Erik S.August 20265.0Erik S.August 2026Advantages- All types of campsites - Mystical Lake - A top-notch restaurant - Sandy beach and beach bar - A highly motivated team led by Haber. - Pizza vending machine - State-of-the-art utility and waste disposal facilities.NegativesNoneOne of the best pharmacies in GermanyThe Seecamping am Wallersee campground is located right on the lake and features a gently sloping beach—perfect for families. There are about 150 campsites with water, electricity, and sewer hookups, many of which are shaded and separated by hedges. Shopping and recreational activities such as swimming,... fishing, and tennis are nearby. Dogs are allowed; the campground is wheelchair-accessible and has Wi-Fi (cost unknown). - 3.0AKAngela K.June 20263.0AKAngela K.June 2026AdvantagesFriendliness of the staff; cleanliness of the upper medical building and the washroomNegativesThe dog-friendly beach at the campground. The restroom facilities during swimming season at the lake.A weekend at the lake!Overall, our stay at Wällercamp was a mixed experience.
The staff throughout the campground were always friendly, helpful, and courteous. The restroom facilities are also modern and clean. However, it would be nice if the windows could be opened all the way instead of just tilted. The restroom building... on the beach should be checked more frequently during peak swimming hours, as the floor often gets wet from heavy foot traffic and becomes very slippery as a result.
Unfortunately, we weren’t impressed with the terrace campsites. They consist almost entirely of gravel and are separated from one another only by small hedges. On hot summer days, the stones heat up extremely, causing the campsites to become very hot and making it very uncomfortable to stay there. The path to the restroom facility is also not exactly comfortable due to the gravel. Because of the intense heat, some dog owners even drove home before their planned departure.
Unfortunately, the dog beach made an unkempt impression on us. Our dog ingested algae there and subsequently developed severe diarrhea, which is why we even had to see a veterinarian. Of course, it cannot be proven with absolute certainty that the algae were the cause, but we would still like to see better maintenance and oversight of the dog beach. One positive aspect worth noting is that a dog shower is available.
The swimming lake itself is a very pleasant temperature in the summer—the water is almost bathwater temperature, so really anyone can go in without any problems.
Unfortunately, we can’t review the restaurant at the campground because we were unable to reserve a table despite asking. The beach bar, on the other hand, is well-stocked and offers a nice selection.
Overall, the campground definitely has its strengths, particularly thanks to the friendly staff and the well-maintained restroom facilities.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. - 1.0RSRebecca S.June 20261.0RSRebecca S.June 2026AdvantagesLarge XL campsites The campground itself has potentialNegativesThe groundskeeper’s tone was completely unacceptable and harsh Harassment of first-time campers upon arrival and departure Chaos and poor organization in the parking areas Unprofessional dismissal of criticism by managementDisappointing from a human perspective—an unfriendly tone spoils the stayAs camping beginners, we were really looking forward to our first trip in a motorhome in June 2026 and had booked an XL campsite. Unfortunately, once we arrived, we were extremely disappointed with both the staff and the service. The campground itself is okay, but the campground manager’s tone was, in... our view, absolutely unacceptable.
Even when we called to let them know we’d be a little late on Friday evening, we were told in a very brusque tone that they didn’t know if we’d even be allowed onto the campground. On Saturday morning, we were reprimanded in a harsh, commanding tone—without even a “Good morning”—because of where we’d parked the vehicle. When we asked if we could have breakfast first—since the awning was already set up—the campground attendant retorted that it was already a favor that we’d been allowed onto the site at all—which, to us, was an incomprehensible notion of customer service for a paid XL site. Finally, as we were leaving on Sunday, we were told to drive away immediately, while vehicles right behind us were completely ignored.
Unfortunately, a factual email complaint to management was completely brushed off. In their response, management essentially shifted the blame onto us, dismissed our account as “overdramatized,” and claimed that nothing like this had ever happened there before.
Criticism or instructions are perfectly fine, but it’s the tone that matters. When a customer is berated like this for legitimate criticism, it unfortunately shows how little value is placed here on genuine hospitality. We definitely won’t be coming back.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first! - 1.0
Ute H.October 20251.0Ute H.October 2025AdvantagesAmbienceNegativesSeatsRestaurant BernhardsWe had a great vacation at the campsite in 2023. Today we just wanted to eat something. We were sent to the outside terrace with the dog. At 8 degrees temperature!!!
A radiant heater that wasn't switched on and a single fleece blanket couldn't protect me from the cold and the dog had to lie on the cold... concrete slabs. Then we were shown the drinks menu with the remark that the kitchen wouldn't open for almost 2 hours and we could have a drink. Or eat a cake. A continuous opening time was given on the internet. Only 2 tables were occupied in the restaurant. We left the restaurant disappointed and annoyed and then paid 1.50 euros for 7 minutes parking time. This is no way to treat customers. So a bitter disappointment and no more recommendations from us.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first! - 3.0
Gerhard B.June 20253.0Gerhard B.June 2025AdvantagesDog run Various pitchesNegativesWe did not find the drinks and food supply on site sufficient There were only 0.333 liter bottles of mineral water during our stay Restaurant was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.Getting on TV is not everythingWe were guests of the Wäller Camp from 22.06.2025 up to and including 25.06.2025.
The site design is really great, some with really great large pitches, very individual, we really liked that.
The sanitary facilities are new, unfortunately the shower partitions are not pulled to the floor, so that you... can get the shower water of the neighbor, which is an absurdity in newly built sanitary facilities!
The food in the restaurant is good, the restaurant staff are very friendly and courteous.
The supply of food is very limited and the supply of mineral water was basically non-existent. Mineral water was only sold in 0.333 liter bottles, really an absurdity, there was a larger selection of wine and beer.
A bread roll service is available, as is a meat and sausage vending machine from a local butcher.
The drinks machine next to the pizza machine, which produced some very dark pizzas during our stay, was not refilled for over a day during our stay.
The dog run, on the other hand, is outstanding.

In principle, this card is used for everything on the campsite.

Each pitch has a gravelled area for the camper with a piece of grass in front of it.
The wash houses are modern and clean.
Everything is charged by chip card, e.g. access to the wash house and the scullery. The chip card must be... used for hot water when showering and washing up and consumption is charged directly.

All the pitches have now been laid out.
We were personally guided to our pitch.
Most of the pitches are terraced and you have a beautiful view of the lake.
The two new sanitary buildings are modern and were mostly clean. Unfortunately, 2 of the... 4 showers in the upper sanitary building were out of order. This was quite unfavorable for a site that was almost fully booked.
The new restaurant was unfortunately closed (currently Mondays and Tuesdays).
A daily bread roll service with fresh bread rolls is offered on request.
Snack bar and beach bar (unfortunately closed on our evening) on the beach.
Supply and disposal with Camper Clean.
The pitches are large enough and equipped with electricity. There are also 3 pitches with private sanitary facilities.
The lake is also used by out-of-town guests and has a lot of algae. This made swimming unattractive for us. SUP'ing is possible.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. - 4.0GGGabriele G.July 20244.0GGGabriele G.July 2024AdvantagesThe place is super organized. Bathhouse 2 is very modern. The pitches are big enough. The lake is great for SUP paddling, even with a dog. Swimming on the dog beach is not so great due to lots of creepers. Everything is great on the beach. The WLAN is super fast, rarely found such good WLAN on a campsite.NegativesIt's commendable that the groundsman accompanies you to the pitch, but the man can't tear himself apart and therefore it's easy for a traffic jam to occur for those arriving. The showers are great, but there are no shelves in the shower cubicle or a small anteroom. You have to put your bag and clothes down in front of the showers.Weekend with dogVery good campsite. A lot is being rebuilt and brought up to the latest standards. As a result, the trees on the new pitches are still quite "small" so there is no natural shade. Dogs are welcome. The restaurant on site is good and tasty. The beach is super busy when the weather is great. All in all, thumbs up.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Very nice and quiet campsite
Our arrival (Guude) and registration at the Wäller-Camp was quick and easy. We were welcomed by a friendly team and given a choice of pitches. We opted for a pitch in area 16, where there are also 3 private sanitary containers, one of which we spontaneously... rented. From our pitch we could also look over the other vehicles to the lake. Electricity (CEE 16A), water and gray water are available at these pitches via a column. Bread roll service with delicious baked goods is available here at the pitch from 08:00. There are other shopping facilities a short distance away. The campsite also has a great beach area with a beach bar, a snack bar and a bistro. Not to forget the barbecue vending machine and the very good bistro in the entrance area. We were very satisfied for the entire duration of our stay and will definitely be back!
