"It was a nice vacation there - It was a quiet and relaxing vacation, a tidy place, everything very clean, just as you would wish. I see the fact that you have to change your shoes in the sanitary building as a very big advantage. At no time was it unclean. It was a perfect vacation

"Peace and absolute relaxation - We came to this place on recommendation. We hereby pass on the recommendation. If you want to experience typical Sweden, this is the place for you. Very friendly staff, extremely clean sanitary facilities. There is a small store in reception where you can buy the essentials and bread rolls in the morning. There is no supermarket nearby... Don't forget to do your shopping beforehand... The campsite is generously laid out.

"Lake camping - Sanitary facilities: (slippers compulsory!), but building down by the lake in older condition, brand new upstairs at reception; super new, fast washing machines Location: terraced arrangement of the pitches, therefore great view; Nice campsite warden! "Well maintained, clean place in a beautiful location - Our family used the campsite with a large tent as a base camp for hikes around Lake Vättern and the Tiveden National Park. The site is well maintained and beautifully situated by a lake. If you get a pitch near the lake like we did, you have a beautiful view over the water. However, the pitches by the lake are more expensive. The ground is quite uneven in places. Campsite guests are also allowed to fish in the lake free of charge. There is an extra fishing jetty for this purpose. For those who prefer to swim in the lake, there is a bathing jetty with a sunbathing lawn at the other end of the campsite. There is a well-stocked little store right on the campsite. The nearest supermarket is a good 20 minutes away by car. The restaurant was closed during our week-long stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the sanitary facilities were clean. You have to buy coins for the hot water in the kitchen and shower (1 SEK for 2 min). Good quality wireless internet is available free of charge throughout the site. However, it did not work on five out of seven days of our visit. This was particularly annoying because the mobile phone reception on the site was not good. That's why I'm missing a little bit for a very good rating.

"Fantastic location in the middle of the national park - perfect relaxation - A perfect campsite for relaxing. We found it more by chance when we were passing through and enjoyed the view of the lake, especially in the evening. For children, splashing around in the water and the playground is a nice change of pace.

There’s a playground, a sports area, and a small sandy beach for swimming. If you prefer a solid roof over your head, you can rent a cabin, an apartment, or a cozy chalet. Your dog is also welcome on a leash – both in the high and low season. Around the site, you’ll find beautiful biking and hiking trails. You can even go windsurfing on the lake. For relaxation, there's a sauna, and in the morning you can pick up fresh bread. Wi-Fi is available across most of the campsite. Stenkällegårdens Camping Tiveden is a place to breathe deeply – quiet, surrounded by nature, and perfect for recharging. It's also the ideal starting point for exploring the nearby Tiveden National Park.
