"All right but without flair - The pitch has only a few trees and is more of a large meadow. Therefore no flair and everything is very visible. The showers are far too small. There are numerous signposted running routes in the surrounding forest (3.5 to 15 km), which we really enjoyed.

"Great location - The campsite is spacious, with large pitches, sufficient sanitary facilities, professional management, etc. There is a regular bus service to Karlstad, but you can also get to the city center quickly by bike. The campsite has a small swimming beach, a nice restaurant and shopping facilities for small items. There was live music in the evening, but it was quiet from 10pm. Overall, a good place to explore the area.

"large space with little flair - the reception was difficult to find due to reconstruction work and the staff there was not very friendly and helpful.the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was not the best,due to the reconstruction of the site(?)the pitches are large,but without shade.the communal kitchen is getting on in years and should be renovated.about 1km to IKEA and bilthema.the nearby beach on lake vänern is beautiful(rocky cliffs but also sandy beach)huge recreational area adjacent.

"Good place with little shade on a huge meadow - The site is now run by First Camp. It is a huge green area that has been parceled out. Few trees. All pitches are spacious and there is plenty of room for children to play. Short walk to the beach. Beautiful walks through the woods. Bus stop directly at the site. Bus to the city every hour. Good sanitary facilities, otherwise there is still a lack of infrastructure (store, snack bar, restaurant etc.) Lots of opportunities for children and young people to play on and around the site.

" - Large site (First Camp Karlstad -Skutberget) in the immediate vicinity of Lake Vänern. Spacious pitches, the pitch itself is hardly overgrown, making it a little uncomfortable. Sanitary facilities were good, sufficient and clean. Supplies available on site. We would love to come again.

" - Campsite in an open area with few trees. The site is close to a shopping center and relatively close to the town. Sanitary facilities very good. The site was heavily frequented by Norwegians. Swimming opportunities behind a wooded area in Vännern. Stone & sandy sections. Child-friendly as some parts are very shallow. Beach & leisure area (frisbee golf & jogging paths) on the edge of the site is also frequented by locals.
