"Beautifully situated on Lake Siljan - Relatively larger but still good and clean pitch. Sanitary facilities were in a good and very clean condition. A walk on the pier is highly recommended. No parceled out areas. Lots of tall trees, so nice and shady in midsummer.

"At Lake Siljan - The campsite is located directly on Lake Siljan, which is ideal for swimming, even for small children, because it is very shallow and therefore relatively warm. Germans are in the absolute minority on the site. Most of the campers come from Sweden and Norway. Despite its size, the site was well filled. The individual pitches are not particularly large. The biggest disadvantage is the very limited sanitary facilities in relation to the size of the site. The price was just ok. For 3 nights you get a free night in Säffle on Lake Vänern.

"Pleasant in the low season - We were lucky and managed to get a pitch right by the lake at the beginning of June. We therefore stayed for 2 days. The entire complex is in good condition.

"Very beautiful location on Lake Siljan - On our round trip through Sweden, we were tipped off by Swedish campers to head for this site. As the season slowly comes to an end in Sweden in mid-August, we had a free choice of pitches and were lucky enough to be right by the lake. Our camper van had never been so beautiful. The view across Lake Siljan to the houses of Rättvik on the hillside was perfect. The lake was well suited for the children, as it is not deeper than 1 meter for several hundred meters. However, as Rättvik is a transit town, the road is very busy and can be heard. The sanitary facilities on our side were okay, but nothing more. By the way, the free dishwasher was great! We will be back because the location is ideal for trips to the Dalarna horses and Björnpark in Orsa.

"Very expensive - On the already expensive Lake Siljan, this site is in the upper range. The site is clean and comfortable. However, it quickly drains your vacation budget. The railroad line is a bit of a nuisance, but the main road passing close to the site is more annoying.

"Much better than expected and described in the usual guides - The place is even better than expected and than the usual portals and guides indicate. Sanitary facilities are pleasantly clean. Large wash/shower cubicles with toilet available. We took the opportunity to wash - you get a key for the washroom and so only the two or three people who are washing have access. If all the machines are occupied, the next ones have to wait for a free time slot. Very pleasant! The location right on the lake is very nice. The wind likes to blow in the afternoon. No mosquitoes. There is a lot to discover around the Siljan. Dog shower hot/cold!

Four-star Siljansbadet is located along Lake Siljan’s shallow sandy beach, which is ideal for bathing. It is perfect for delightful swims, exciting family activities and sunset dinners by the water. Many of the campsite pitches have beach access, while others …are located under the shade of pine trees or in open sunny areas. We offer accommodation in various sizes and standards, from plain camping cabins to mobile homes and flats. At the southern end of the campsite lies Rättvik’s famous landmark Långbryggan with its 628 meters, and in the northern part you can find the church and the church stables. In the heart of the area lie the much-appreciated playground and the mini golf course. Rättvik’s centre with cosy shops, crafts, cafés and restaurants, is only a short walk away. Between the campsite and the centre is the Travel Centre, which means that you can easily travel by train and practically land on the campsite area when you step out on the platform.
