"Wonderful, uncomplicated vacation with child and dog - Booking via the campsite's online portal was clear, simple and uncomplicated, and we were even able to specify our wishes. The deposit could be paid by instant bank transfer without a credit card. I quickly received a booking confirmation with personal information relating to the wishes I had expressed. The check-in and general service was nice and friendly, the information sheet was informative and comprehensive and questions were quickly answered. The site was clean, the people were nice, the location right on the lake was a dream. The sanitary facilities were always clean, well equipped and available in sufficient numbers. Only in the upper part, by the playground, would a toilet block be an advantage. The old trees provide the necessary shade and create a great atmosphere. The surrounding area has so much to offer for families with children, hikers and dog owners - we will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful time!

"Perfect - Everything is just right at this site: the peace and quiet, the atmosphere, the layout of the pitches: Extra plus point: pallets are provided so that you don't step on the wet, sometimes sandy ground in rainy weather. The sanitary facilities were always clean and tidy. The owners always went out of their way to fulfill the guests' wishes to the best of their ability, even beyond the standard. We would love to come back.

"Very nice campsite - We stayed with you for 8 days with our 9 month old daughter until this Monday. It was very nice, we had only booked until Saturday and wanted to stay until Monday because it was so nice. That wasn't a problem at all and we were able to move to the next nice pitch across the road. The campsite operator is very nice and offered us the pitch. The lake is very beautiful and great for swimming. And the beer from the nearby brewery is delicious. I've been to the campsite with my son 5 years ago and what can I say, it's still just as nice. The lady at the kiosk is also very nice and we had fresh bread rolls every morning. We'll definitely be back again sometime. Thank you for a lovely stay.

"Very nice small campsite. Friendly welcome - We arrived without booking in advance and received a very friendly welcome. Despite the fact that the campsite was fully booked, they made an effort to give us a place. The campsite is very nice and right on the lake. The sanitary building was very clean. We will be happy to spend our vacation at this campsite again whenever possible.

The magazine Camping, Cars & Caravans described us in their October 2013 Camping Check as "the best site CCC has ever featured in their Camping Check." …We are the smallest TopCamping Bavaria site and have been awarded by ADAC (2018) and ANWB (2018), as well as 4 DTV stars (2016). Wake up to the sound of birdsong with a view over the idyllic Hammersee lake, located in the resort town of Bodenwöhr in the Upper Palatinate Lake District. Surrounded by unspoiled nature and facing the picturesque Weichselbrunn nature reserve, peace-seeking visitors will find pure relaxation and tranquility here. The flat network of paths is a hidden gem for easy and varied hiking and cycling, with plenty of delightful spots to eat along the way. The scenic lake offers pure enjoyment for swimmers, paddlers, and anglers alike.
