"Camping as you imagine it! - We chose this place for a weekend trip with 2 children. Arrival and check-in were extremely friendly and uncomplicated. We were able to choose one of 4 pitches. The pitches are large enough and equipped with electricity, water and drainage. The sanitary building was very clean and you have plenty of space for all your errands. The playground is also adequate and well maintained. The highlight was the outdoor pool next door, which is included in the price of the pitch. We were able to use it straight away due to the temperatures. The site has no frills and feels tailored to the Rhön. It fits! We will definitely be back.

"well-kept, quiet campsite on the outskirts of Bischofsheim - The site is very well maintained and well managed. The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean. A quiet place perfect for hikers and cyclists, in summer admission to the adjacent outdoor pool is included

"Simple beautiful campsite - Nice little campsite without any big frills. There are no restaurants on site..... but you don't really need them either. It's about a 15-minute walk to Bischofsheim. One or the other also delivers directly to the campsite. The sanitary facilities are clean and sufficiently well equipped. For our kids (aged 10 and 13), the skate park and the outdoor pool are of course the big highlights. The skate park is free of charge and you get swimming tickets for the outdoor pool when you arrive. So admission is free here too. When we were there, we were glad to have the outdoor pool. It was damn hot!!! Hikes, for example up the Kreuzberg, are very easy from the campsite. The reward is a good monastery beer and a hearty meal! Shopping at the campsite is only possible to a limited extent - but that's not really a problem, as there are plenty of shops in Bischofsheim. We were traveling with three families this time. We were allocated the "Rondell" pitch. It was perfect for us, as the three of us were able to set up very well here. Can only recommend the site. If you don't need high-end sanitary blocks, entertainment, star restaurants or the like, you're in good hands here. Camping is still camping here!!! We would definitely love to come back!!!

"Chic little campsite - The campsite is situated in a scenic location and is easily accessible both by road and highway. The pitches are generously sized. The sanitary building is centrally located and offers very spacious, always clean toilets and showers as well as cabins with washbasins, some of which are handicapped accessible. In the same building there is a large scullery, laundry room with washing machines and dryers as well as a separate drying room for laundry. There is also a solarium and a small library on the upper floor, and the neighboring outdoor pool can be used free of charge. There is a small kiosk where you can buy fresh bread rolls in the morning on pre-order, and at the weekend there was also a good selection of cakes. There is also a small, helpful range of everyday necessities. The Adrian family who run the site are always friendly and very keen to make your stay a pleasant one. The site is very well maintained. Water and electricity are easily accessible. The nearby road is slightly audible on the front pitches, but this didn't bother us too much. All in all, a site that we would be happy to recommend and that we will definitely visit again.

"Very regimented, not very flexible. Great surroundings make up for it. - Overall, the site is in a really nice location and it was also very quiet at night. We didn't like the fact that the pitches are rather close together and that you are told how to position your car at reception as soon as you arrive. We would have liked to have had less presentation, which would have been possible on the pitch without any restrictions for the others. Sanitary facilities were good, but the washing-up room in the basement was ok. Quite a lot of prohibitions or unfriendly signs about what to do and what not to do. A little more friendliness would certainly be nice here. Overall, however, the site is a great starting point for hikes and that makes up for it.

"Beautifully maintained place - Very well-kept site in the middle of the beautiful Rhön. Clean wash house, midday rest with closed barrier (I think this should generally be abolished, you are not in jail) Pitches okay, sometimes very narrow. Nice outdoor pool and a skate park for children directly at the campsite

Zur Entspannung danach freier Eintitt in das Freibad gleich neben dem Campingplatz.
