"Mediocre - This campsite appeals at first sight. Everything is clean, nice staff. Unfortunately not suitable for those seeking peace and quiet, as there are obviously a lot of youth groups staying here. During my stay it was only possible to sleep at around 2.00 am. Unfortunately, even my request to those responsible the day before to at least allow peace and quiet to return from midnight didn't help. What a pity!

"Nice campsite for travellers. - Good place to stay, boats can be rented for boating on the Neisse River. Quiet, peaceful atmosphere. You must arrive at the campsite by 20.00 to check in and take a shower. After that the rooms are closed.

"Small and fine campsite - Very nice small campsite is located directly on the Neisse cycle path and therefore very quiet because around it is only fields, meadows and the Neisse. The restaurant belonging to the place is unfortunately not always open, but alternatively you can eat lunch in the village to recommend for the small purse would be e.g. the cafeteria of the hospital or go to the butcher Eichler they offer every day a changing cheap lunch dish. Also highly recommended in the city is the Kanka Kebap Haus which can be found in Priebuser Str. just like the butcher Eichler, here you can eat comfortably but also inexpensively. In the vicinity of the campsite you will also find shopping facilities, doctors, a pharmacy, a hospital (orthopaedics), restaurants etc. The campsite is recommended for all those who would like to take a boat trip on the Neisse, as the operator offers this service. Cycling tourists are also in good hands here, as the Neisse cycle path leads right past the campsite. You can also start day trips from here to the Zittauer Gebirge, Bautzen, Görlitz, Nochten boulder park with Bärwalder See etc.

"Nice quiet campsite - The well-kept campsite is located approx. 2km from Rothenburg in der Lausitz. The Neisseradweg cycle path is only 200m away. The site is flat and has a beautiful lawn. Small trees therefore little shade. The sanitary facilities are adequate and very clean. The showers without partitions. Excursions by bike in the surrounding area (e.g. Kulturinsel Einsiedel, Görlitz, Niesky). The reception also offers rubber dinghy tours on the Neisse.

"Quiet place as a base for nature experiences and culture - Extremely quiet place, hardly any shade (trees are still growing), separate toilet for short distances, restaurant in the main building (when in operation?), central location for excursions to NSG Niederspree, Erlichthof, Görlitz (city tour!), Abenteuer-Staun-Land Kulturinsel Einsiedel, boat tours on site, etc. Collective changing room/shower, but there was nothing going on in August, so no problem. Campfire possible on site - an eternal Wessie dream! Really everything included, simple calculation of the low overnight costs.

Our 'Neisse - Active - Camp' is the easternmost campsite in Germany, located between the historic old town of Görlitz and the Fürst Pückler Park in Bad Muskau, surrounded by beautiful nature with vast forests. The Neisse Active Camp is …the ideal starting point for anyone who wants to actively explore the surroundings by bike, boat or on foot. From our campsite you can start 9 different bicycle tours. The necessary information and maps are available free of charge at the reception. If you don't have your own bike, you can also use our bike rental service at the campsite. Both the Oder - Neisse cycle path and the Frosch cycle path pass directly by our camp. Our boat landing stage is about 200 m from our Neisse Active Camp. The Neisse is one of the most natural rivers in Germany and we offer more than 10 different tours with different departure points. The Upper Lusatia with its many lakes and ponds offers you several bathing possibilities in the surrounding area. Modern sanitary facilities and showers, a self-catering kitchen, various sports facilities (table tennis table, basketball hoop, volleyball and football field), the possibility to do laundry and a recreation room leave no comfort to be missed. A playground for the children is also available on our premises. Our open-air restaurant, which is open daily during the summer season and offers grilled food, drinks, coffee, ice cream and cake, is located about 200 m away, directly on the Neisse River. For an excursion for families and youth groups, the Einsiedel Island of Culture is about 3km away. On this huge adventure playground you can explore the secret world of the Turiseder, discover secret tunnels and passages, climb to the top of trees and meet the island spirits. Other excursion destinations include : - Boat tours with Neiße-Tours - 3 D archery on the Neisse - Visit to the city of Görlitz ( old town, nature reserve animal park, Landeskrone, Berzdorfer See) - Visit to the Prince Pückler Park in Bad Muskau - Open-air swimming pool in Niesky Join us and spend a few relaxing and unforgettable days in beautiful Upper Lusatia.
