Advantages
+ clean sanitary facilities + Proximity to the city center of Tübingen + friendliness of the operators
Negatives
- Driving through the residential area can be chaotic
Nice little CP on the outskirts of Tübingen
Beautiful small CP on the outskirts of Tübingen. Ideal for exploring the town and surrounding area. The campsite is located directly at the end of a residential area and on the banks of the Neckar. The city center is only 2 km away and can be reached on foot. The approach is through the residential area... and can be a bit chaotic depending on the traffic situation. The reception was very friendly. The restaurant was still closed, but you could order bread rolls for breakfast in the small store. The pitches are relatively small, but very idyllically situated on the banks of the Neckar. The location is very quiet, despite the adjacent residential area. The sanitary buildings were nice and always clean.
We would love to come back...

Advantages
Very friendly host family who are great organizers and respond quickly to problems. Clean, modern sanitary facilities. Super location on the Necker, shady, sufficiently large pitches.
Negatives
The so-called restaurant and beer garden. Operated only sporadically, the menu is very modest, as is the taste of the food on offer. There doesn't seem to be a chef. There is room for improvement here.
Camping ok, food oh my!
We would love to come back because of the location on the Neckar, especially suitable for dogs. We had no bikes with us and were dependent on the food on offer due to our advanced age. This could be improved.

Advantages
Location, tranquility, very friendly owners
Negatives
No reservation option
Very nice place, unfortunately without reservation possibility
We were in Tübingen for one of my wife's drum workshops and wanted to reserve a place. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible, so we went there on the off-chance. On the day of arrival, we called again from the road and were told that there was still 1 space available. Unfortunately, this was already taken... on arrival, but an emergency pitch could be made available. Due to the high fluctuation on the campsite, we got a nice, flat pitch the next morning.
The site itself is quite small and manageable, motorhomes, caravans and tents are separated from each other, the atmosphere is very friendly and accommodating.
A small bistro with a garden offers small meals and drinks, and a kiosk sells a few everyday items.
The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained.
Direct access by stairs to the Neckar, swimming in summer, but still a little too cold in May.

All in all, a very nice place with the only drawback that it is not possible to book in advance, as we had no alternative to this campsite. But the owners were very keen to accommodate us despite the site being full.

Advantages
beautiful, quiet campsite on the neckar, clean sanitary facilities, nice little food and drink menu in the beer garden - and especially the always friendly people from the manager to the service!
Negatives
i can't think of anything :) ah, but: since my gas supply failed, I would have liked a breakfast coffee - but that's really complaining on a high level. there's a nice little café nearby.
I'd love to come back!
i really enjoyed it! thank you very much!
as my gas system failed, i would have liked to have a morning coffee "from the vending machine", but that's the only thing i missed.
I would love to come back!

Advantages
Beautifully situated on the Neckar and well-kept place with large trees
Negatives
At our time construction site in the immediate vicinity
The access road is a bottleneck
Reservations are probably only possible for special guests and with the narrow, long driveway you can only hope to get a place.
No barrier, no midday rest.
Top power supply. WLAN sometimes great.

Negatives
Quite expensive at 37 Eur for camper, 2 pers. and electricity. But as it's so close to the city, it's still reasonable.

Very close to the city, directly on the Neckar. Friendly welcome at the reception with a map of the city and co.
There is a staircase that leads down to the Neckar, so you can jump straight in for a swim.

Advantages
The site is right on the Neckar, which is a wonderful place to swim. The city is easily accessible by city bus. A great place to get to know TÜ.
Negatives
Relatively expensive
Nice place, great swimming experience
We spent one night at the campsite, went in after the barrier opened (3 pm sharp), had a rest and went swimming in the nearby Neckar. What a relief!
We then drove to Tü to get to know the town.
Because it was 32 degrees, all activities were somewhat limited...it was just too hot to do much.

Advantages
wifi free of charge, arrival possible until 10 pm
Negatives
unfriendly, snack
Expensive...
Day 1 Tübingen campsite The campsite can be reached via a bumpy road through a residential area. We were looking for a place for one night on our way north and didn't arrive until around 8pm. The lady at reception was not friendly and seemed rather annoyed. The pitch allocated to us was small, but sufficient... for our small caravan. It was annoying that we weren't allowed to leave our caravan attached and even the direction in which we should park it was prescribed.... "Otherwise there will be problems" (what problems?)... Sanitary facilities simple, but okay. Restaurant more like a chip shop... the smell there drifted into the reception room and all my clothes smelled of old frying fat, although I had never entered the "restaurant"... WLAN free and fast, could even watch Netflix in the evening... Price rather high, 2 adults, 1 child, a small team: 37.50 euros.

Advantages
Excursions - Location
Negatives
Parking when the barrier is closed
For excursions / sightseeing
Well signposted, bumpy approach through a residential area at the end of which the campsite is located. When the CP barrier is closed, there is no parking space for cars, motorhomes or even caravans in front of it. Why is it not open all day to avoid this problem? Registration after the lunch break?... Reservation not possible. Friendly trainee at reception. Groundsman from friendly to rude with his guests. Small, no demarcation recognizable, flat grass / gravel pitches in the front part of the square above the Neckar, quiet location, separated for WoMo and WW. Lower-lying bank lined with vegetation, inaccessible or difficult to reach, sometimes with smelly grass and hedge trimmings. Sanitary facilities in good condition as long as you don't look up or down, pre-order bread rolls, clear price list, no visitor's tax, weak WLAN free of charge. Restaurant, more like a snack bar, with a very manageable menu. Bicycle rental station in front of CP without bicycles. Tübingen city center approx. 2km away, easily accessible on foot, by bike or bus. Car parking and bicycle parking difficult in Tübingen. Price, well I know cheaper CP.

Supply/demand ratio seems to dominate
Ok, it was only for one night. The pitches (as in the first picture on the page) are no bigger than 40-50 square meters everywhere. We paid for it (2 adults, pitch, electricity, dog): 37.5 €. The dog cost €4 (for what?). Anyway, even for €33.5 this is far too expensive in comparison. Hence the assumption:... value is added as much as possible here. We have rarely experienced such a cramped campsite, and comparatively expensive at that. Otherwise: Sanitary ok to good, restaurant better snack quality, distance to the city center (center!) about 4km! Conclusion, after a 3-week vacation in Carinthia, on Lake Garda, Stams, a comparatively expensive disappointment. We will not be returning.

Small but nice campsite especially for sightseeing.
We stayed there for three nights and felt comfortable on a sufficiently large pitch. Ideal for exploring the town on foot and cycling tours in the surrounding area! There is delicious Swabian cuisine!

Everything perfect
Apart from the one negative review, we can confirm everything previously said. Nice welcome, clean and spacious sanitary facilities, quiet and good location for excursions - be it to Tübingen in the old town (on foot), be it along the Neckar by bike. Direct supply on site with bread rolls, wine, restaurant... well guaranteed (if you are too exhausted from the excursions in the evening). Really beautiful and exemplary city campsite. Unfortunately no reservation possible. We were still hiking in the Black Forest on the way there and it would have been nice to know for sure that we would get a free place there in the evening.

Advantages
Close to the city Quiet place on the Neckar Friendly staff
Relaxed long-term vacation in a very pleasant camping atmosphere
We spent 4 weeks at the campsite as a family with a dog. Our stay at the campsite was characterized by a pleasant, uncomplicated and friendly atmosphere. The sanitary facilities were carefully cleaned. The site is mainly used by travelers staying 1-2 nights. However, it is highly recommended for a longer... stay. The proximity to the city of Tübingen, the beautiful path along the Neckar and the many sights in the surrounding area invite you to enjoy a variety of leisure activities.

Everything o.k.
The campsite is located at the end of a residential street and is a 20-minute walk from the old town of Tübingen. The pitches are large enough, the staff are friendly and the sanitary facilities are clean and spacious. We felt we were in good hands there and will certainly be back.

Beautiful city campsite
We stayed at this campsite for 2 nights at the beginning of May and felt very comfortable. Beautiful location directly on the Neckar and not far from the beautiful old town of Tübingen. The sanitary facilities are newly renovated, modern and always clean. Showers are free of charge. The friendly owner couple also run the camping restaurant, where you can enjoy a very good meal. The menu is surprisingly extensive and the prices are fair.

Advantages
Price-performance ratio; top sanitary facilities; small playground; size of the pitch; many water points; central location
Negatives
The unfriendliness of the operators - the advantages of the place can be great and great - we will never come back.
Bad-tempered, imprisoning operators
The campsite itself is good, although not very original (location, trees, flair ...). However, after weeks in the south of France and northern Italy, we were shocked by the way people treated us. Not only had we never heard of a midday rest period on a campsite and therefore never heard of a ban on entering... and leaving, but when we rang the site manager, we were only told briefly and concisely over the intercom that we would only be spoken to again after the lunch break - and then simply hung up. As I persevered and the grounds manager came out later, I was finally able to make our exit (to a wedding), but I had to put up with a lot of inconvenience up to that point: asking and begging in a friendly manner, even though I was approached in a brash manner; ignoring the ejection until 4 pm (would have been impossible); condoning the subsequent ejection the next day ... The groundsman took advantage of his position of power due to the closed barrier and apparently enjoyed it. Terrible! And I never once heard his wife (?), with whom we otherwise had to deal, speak a friendly word or smile at us. We will never come back. And the owner couple (?) should be advised to do an internship abroad, break down barriers and learn to be friendly.
