"Natural campsite in the biosphere reserve - The campsite is in a very idyllic location directly on Lake Olba. The area is characterized by many trees, which create a beautiful and natural atmosphere. The campsite is located in the middle of the Upper Lusatian Heath and Pond Landscape Biosphere Reserve with its natural surroundings characterized by ponds and forests and is ideal for cycling and hiking tours in the beautiful surroundings. The sanitary facilities are clean and modern. A large children's playground and a directly adjacent bathing beach also offer something for families and children. The campsite operators are very friendly and accommodating. A highly recommended campsite for nature-loving people and families looking for relaxation.

"If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you - A great place! We and our dog were given a very friendly welcome and taken to our pitch. There are several sanitary facilities. All very clean. The main sanitary facilities are new and also have a shower and washing machine/dryer. There is also a small kiosk with bread service on the site. This is open from 8 - 10 am. It was very quiet and we enjoyed the birdsong early in the morning. If you want to go swimming, snorkeling or kayaking, this is the place for you. The crystal-clear water is perfect for this. And if you take the kayak out again in the evening and are really quiet, you might even spot a nutria, sunfish or a kingfisher. Our pitch was really great. Even after rain, the ground was not soggy. The trees around you are great and provide good shade when the sun is shining. You can also get excursion destinations at reception, as well as games to borrow. All in all, it was the kind of place we often looked for and found here. We will definitely be back.

"Our favorite place - A dream for nature lovers and families We have been coming to this wonderful nature campsite regularly for six years - and we feel welcome every time. The location right on the lake, in the middle of a nature reserve, is simply fantastic. The incredibly friendly operators, who put their heart and soul into creating a pleasant atmosphere, deserve special mention. The new, very clean sanitary facilities add to the feeling of well-being. For active vacationers, there are numerous opportunities for hiking and cycling on the nature trails of the surrounding pond landscape. A perfect place to enjoy nature and find peace and quiet. We always like to come back!

"Very nice place at a great swimming lake - We stayed on the site for 10 nights and felt very comfortable. The pitches are not parceled out and are mostly shady. There was still enough space, even though we were there in high season. There is a large playground for the children. The beach at Lake Olba is right next to the campsite. The site is well-kept and you can tell that it is run with passion. There are 2 wash houses, only one of which also has showers. They were clean at all times. There is a kiosk on the beach where you can also order breakfast rolls. The location is perfect for nature lovers and cyclists. Bautzen is about 25 minutes away by car.

"Camping the way you love it right on the lake - Very pleasant camping flair in a rustic ambience. The site offers everything we could wish for on vacation: Water/beach, partly shady pitches, friendly people, nice playground, good food. The campsite is definitely the right place for small children, the playground and the beach provide the right conditions. Not fancy, but everything you need. We are happy to recommend the campsite with fond memories!

A perfect vacation and relaxation place for nature enthusiasts, cyclists or guests seeking peace and rest. A lot of hiking and paved bike paths provide opportunities for extensive trips. Also a broad range of tourist attractions and sightseeing points are offering possibilities for day trips and can also be visited and explored during bad weather. Enjoy the sunsets at the beach of the Olbasee or calmly end the day at the campfire. We’re looking forward to welcoming guests with motorhomes, caravans and of course tents

Directions

Autobahn 4 towards Dresden Exit the autobahn at the highway exit „Bautzen-Ost“ and turn onto B156 towards „Weißwasser“ Follow the B156 for about 2 kilometers, then turn right towards „Niesky“. Here you will find the first blue sign indicating „Camping …Olbasee“. Follow the S109 for about 12 kilometers through the villages Pließkowitz, Malschwitz, Guttau and Kleinsaubernitz. After the village exit sign, turn left towards “Wartha” and onto the road to „Naturcampingplatz” (2nd indicating sign). You will reach the campground after approximately 1km on the left side. Autobahn 13 towards Berlin Follow the Autobahn 13 until Cottbus. Exit the autobahn at the highway exit Cottbus-Süd and turn right onto B97 towards Spremberg/Hoyerswerda. Turn right in Spremberg towards „Boxberg“. After 20 kilometers you will reach Boxberg, then turn right onto B156 towards Bautzen. After 10 kilometers you leave B156 in Lieske and drive towards Wartha. Then turn left. You will reach the campground after approximately 1 kilometer.
