Advantages
The jetty into the lake, the lake itself and the surroundings, very nice staff
Negatives
The place was too crowded for me, quite a hustle and bustle
Great for families
We arrived spontaneously and were lucky to be able to choose a pitch. In the evening, as on all other days, the campsite was full. It's ideal for families, great bathing area with play area, jetty, small slide into the water. Restaurant and bread roll service available. Lively during the day, quiet... at night. The lake is large and clear, the surrounding area is good for cycling or hiking. Eksjö is beautiful! The Skurugata is also a tip in good weather.

Very nice, helpful campsite owner who gave us lots of tips about the area and gave us her best spot right by the water.
Negatives
The campsite is located directly around the bathing lake, which is also used by numerous local residents
Family-friendly campsite right on the lake
Very friendly and helpful owner from Germany. She took great care of the well-being of her guests.

nice place directly on the lake
Spacious pitches, with and without shade. One wash house was okay, the other was mediocre and was locked at night. However, each camping family was given a key. Washing machines on site. Small lake with several islands, bathing jetty. Playground right by the lake. Good starting point for exploring the surrounding area.

Sanitary standard
no longer meets today's standards
We stayed at this site for a few days because it is located between Jönköping and Astrid Lindgren's Värld. The pitches directly on the lake are limited and were occupied by long-term campers when we were there. The sanitary facilities are outdated and no longer meet today's standards (shower curtains). Cleanliness was also not always guaranteed. The staff were friendly but in our opinion far too young.

Sweden as you imagine it...
Our rating only applies to the large self-catering cabins, so we can't rate the sanitary facilities etc. The cabins (we had the very large one with 32 square meters) are great! They are quietly situated by a small stream (with crayfish!) in the middle of pine trees and blueberry bushes, are very clean... and have just the right size and facilities. Our two children (4 and 2) loved the little cottage. The site itself is beautifully situated on the lake with a sandy beach, playground and play area. The non-swimmer area right next to the sandy beach is also great for small children. We were there in June, just before midsummer, when the restaurant was still closed and the store wasn't always open, but that didn't bother us. We chose this cottage on the campsite because we didn't want to camp with small children and because a "real" secluded Swedish cottage would have been too boring for them. So we always had a playground and other children in front of the house, even when it wasn't bathing weather.

Was on a stopover with the motorhome and it was very nice, even though I had to leave my original pitch due to a double booking. Very friendly staff allocated me an even nicer pitch.

Super location on the lake. You can rent a pedal boat, canoe, rowing boat or just go for a swim. Pitches are spread around the lakeshore. The staff are super friendly. The sanitary facilities are very basic but clean. Showers are free of charge. There is a small kiosk for sandwiches, drinks, potato chips, etc. and a restaurant with a view of the lake. Prices are ok. There is a supermarket in the next village Hult (approx. 1km).

Our first vacation in Sweden took us straight to this great campsite. It's in a fantastic location right on Lake Försjön, where young and old can relax. I really liked the non-swimmer area between the jetties. This meant that even the little ones could play safely in the water. The lake is rather shallow... and has a brown color, yet it is crystal clear. Due to the brownish color, the lake heats up faster and so we had 20.4°C on the day of departure. From Eksjö you can reach many excursion destinations, such as Vimmerby with the Astrid Lindgren World or the Skurugata gorge. We will be back! :-)

The campsite is beautifully situated on a lake, which is ideal for boating and swimming. The sanitary facilities are relatively basic, but clean. They were cleaned twice a day. The showers can be used free of charge. The campsite has a kiosk selling sandwiches and a restaurant with a lovely outdoor terrace.... The pitches are spread out in an arc around the lakeshore, under trees. However, there is also a shadeless meadow. The staff are very friendly. Jönköping and Vimmerby are about 50 km away, in the village of Hult (1.5 km away) there is a small supermarket. In Eksjö, 10 km away, there are several supermarkets (Lidl, Coop, Ica and Willys). A perfect place to relax and unwind.

This was one of the best and cheapest campsites on our 1-month trip to Scandinavia! Very nicely situated by the lake, the cabins are beautifully built (even if the heating was broken) and the nature is just beautiful!

Very idyllic site right on the lake. The simple sanitary facilities are always in a clean condition. In the low season it was only possible to get baked goods and other food to a limited extent. Many excursion possibilities in the surrounding area.

We have been to Hult a total of 3 times in different years. Beautiful location and not too far from Eksjö. Walks in the forest and nature are possible (Skurugata!!) and in the evening there were a couple of really big horses at the site, on which the children could go for a guided ride around the site. Sanitary facilities simple but clean, small store on site and overall a nice stopover site.
