"Nasty noise surprise - We are extremely disappointed! The website advertises "idyll and tranquillity in the middle of nature": "Between trees and dunes, our campsite is located directly on the fine sandy beach ... A bit hidden, but in a romantic setting. [...] Pure nature!" "You can hear the sound of the sea, smell the salty air and wake up to the sun." These idyllic images do not match the reality in any way. We were not informed before booking or on arrival that there would be an extremely loud open-air party on the open-air stage that evening - with music until late into the night. We would never have traveled with a baby under these circumstances! What was particularly annoying was that we were allocated one of the most exposed pitches directly in the noise zone of the stage. Sleep is out of the question here. Although the terms and conditions mention a night's rest from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., there can be no question of this at this noise level. The discrepancy between the advertising promises ("idyllic", "pure nature", family-friendly) and the actual experience is frightening. Instead of peace and nature, we were treated to noise well into the night - without any prior information. This is an absolute no-go, especially for families who deliberately choose a campsite with a children's playground and a location close to nature. We feel deceived and disrespected. If we had known about this event, we would not have booked. So there is only one clear warning to other guests: If you are looking for peace and quiet or are traveling with children, you should find out exactly whether another major event is taking place - otherwise you will experience the opposite of the promised idyll here.

"Small but very very fine - Super nice small nature camping site with 4 x caravan pitches and approx. 4x camper pitches as well as approx. 20 permanent campers. Beautiful CP in the middle of pine trees and dune sand. The campsite is located directly on the Merr with its own access. The staff are super nice and very helpful. The only sanitary building is clean and nicely done. The toilet area is perhaps a little narrower, but that wasn't a problem. Sufficient showers etc. available. There is also a small playground and a small recreation area. We were there before Easter and it wasn't very busy yet. If you want a small campsite with little fuss, this is the place for you. The car stays in the parking lot at the front and the caravan is pulled to the pitch with the tractor. The caravans are parked in the front area and can drive there themselves. The only negative point from our point of view is the approach and departure. A bit bumpy with potholes. However, there is a one-way street regulation.

"Great campsite - It took some getting used to at first, but the two closest neighbors both told us they had been coming here for years. Here you really have vacation so we were told. This was completely true. We will definitely come back. Now with the caravan but renting a cottage on site is also a good alternative. Although at first it seemed a little crowded on the campsite, you didn't notice this at all, it was very quiet and no noise. A fine, cozy family campground. The beach so close by was great. Every morning before breakfast we went to the sea. The staff was friendly and helpful. Had 6 wonderful days.

"Pure relaxation... - We booked one of the coveted houses on the site over a year ago. A few days ago it was time for our vacation on the Darß at the Meißner Sonnencamp campsite. The campsite has a wonderful location, close to the beach, who wants shade in the hot summer and the town of Prerow is within easy walking distance. We encountered super friendly staff. The house was perfect for us. We will definitely be back.

"Creepy - The location of the campsite is fantastic. Beautiful dunes, pine trees, close to the beach. But that was it. The staff are unfriendly, grumpy and rude. You don't feel welcome. You've probably never heard of hospitality here. What a shame. We are hosts ourselves and have 3 vacation apartments on the Baltic Sea. We are aware that half the vacation is already won with friendly people. And that's what we live for and expect on our vacations - as a matter of course.

Zwischen Bäumen und Düne liegt unser Campingplatz direkt am feinsandigen Strand von Prerow auf der Halbinsel Darß. Ein bisschen versteckt, jedoch in romantischer Umgebung. Sie können das Meer rauschen hören, riechen die salzhaltige Luft und werden von der Sonne geweckt. …Natur pur!, die können unsere Gäste bei uns erleben. Unser Camp hat gerade für Familien mit Kindern ideale Bedingungen. Wir sind nur einen Katzensprung von der Ortsmitte von Prerow entfernt. Auch der Nationalpark Vorpommersche Boddenküste mit dem Darßer Urwald und dem berühmten Weststrand mit seinen Windflüchtern und der wilden Ostsee ist von uns aus gut erreichbar. Für Wohnwagen und Wohnmobile bis maximal 7 Metern Gesamtlänge (inkl. Deichsel)

Von der A19 kommend in Rostock die Abfahrt "Rostock-Ost" in Richtung Ribnitz-Damgarten auf die B105 nehmen. Der B105 bis Altheide folgen. Dort an der Ampel links auf die L21, Bäderstraße, einbiegen. Dem Straßenverlauf 36 km folgen. Nachdem Sie Born und …Wieck passiert haben, von der L21 in den Ortseingang Prerow, Wiecker Weg, abbiegen. Dieser wird im weiteren Verlauf erst zur Strandstraße und anschließend zur Waldstraße. Weiter über den Bernsteinweg. Am "Best Western Hotel Waldschlösschen" rechts abbiegen in die Villenstraße. Nach ca. 50m links bergauf der Einbahnstraße folgen. Geradeaus, vorbei am Johann-Niemann-Weg, finden Sie auf der rechten Seite das Sonnencamp.
