A good base for exploring the area
The campsite is in a very nice location. Although it is right on the road, the noise level is usually not disturbing. However, the masses of Norwegians who use Strömstad as a cheap shopping opportunity and spend the night and party here are louder. The staff are friendly, but information is only available... on request. Fully equipped kitchen, sanitary facilities in order, lots of play facilities for children, 2 own beaches and motorboat rental + mini golf... A restaurant, which is not always open (low season starts in mid-August), bike rental, a small store (not worth it, better to go to ICA). Approx. 3 km from Strömstad, easy to reach by bike. Pitches very spacious - we were at the back. Dogs must be kept on a lead. We stayed here for 2.5 weeks and covered almost everything in the area + 70 km - there was a lot to see. The area is great. Recommended from our point of view: Kosterhavet and a seal safari (sälsafari), Saltö, Smögen, Fjällbacka, Grebbestad (be sure to eat at the Telegraphen), Strömstad at the harbor (Rökerit - delicious fish, shrimp and oysters !!!) Blomsholmen, Tresticklan National Park, Strömstad Museum, motorboat and or kayak tour).
