"CP for individualists - We stayed for 2 nights with our VW California in this CP for a stopover from Apulia to home. The site is very quiet. Friendly British operator couple who have lovingly built this campsite in a remote location in Serramonacesca in the Maiella National Park in Abruzzo. This site is primarily suitable for campers. However, there are also 3 pitches for small camper vans, even with electricity. Ideal for hiking or mountain bike tours. There is a restaurant/pizzeria in Serramonacesca (approx. 1/2 hour's walk away).

"Nature camping at its best - Beautifully secluded and ideal for campers with tents who love individuality. The owner's very friendly representative gives excellent tips for wonderful hikes in the Maella National Park.

" - I can recommend Kokopelli for anyone looking for a quiet holiday with plenty of outdoor activity well off the tourist trail. The hiking is superb if you don't mind some steep climbs! A great spot, rarely found, and I'd certainly go back.

No hook-ups, no marked out plots, no big campervans; just you, your tent, the Majella mountains & big, big skies CAMPING WITHOUT THE KIT: canvas glamping tents, erected and equipped, available for hire from €20 per night. Or we have a selection of pop-up tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, for €2 per night. Fully equipped kitchen (all cooking and eating equipment, fridges, food storage, wifi) available in the price. Just bring yourselves, we’ll provide the rest SELF-CATERING OPTIONS: Glamping tents or an en-suite room in the farmhouse.
